What's the condition of the rider who got run over yesterday on Moto E? Didn't see him today. Hope he's fine.

Apparently Zaccone was discharged from hospital, all good, but not fit to ride today. And the stewards give to Torres - probably the right decision.

I like Fabio's attitude, he could have just cruised (well, almost since Bastianini was very quick as well) but the man pushed hard at the end, even had a couple of moments with the front.

And Bastianini, wow...

This is going to sound cringey but I actually had a dream that Bastianini won, the day before the race. I don't even know why - I was sitting watching the race on a stream on my old PC and it was basically Jack Miller's win at Assen from 2016 but it wasn't Miller, it was Bastianini and I was thinking how he'd suddenly exploded up to the front and how great it was for Avintia. Then I'm following the actual race yesterday from afar and he's eighth, then he's sixth, then third and I'm thinking I should go and buy a lottery ticket.

At one point it looked like he had pace to win the damn thing!

I wonder if that is with some of the people from the Petronas junior teams. If I recall correctly there were a fair number of Brits working there.

It sounds like it might very well be the Petronas Moto3 people/equipment for Laverty’s team.

I am curious what will happen to Stigelfelt. Simon Crafar tried asking Stiggy about next year and he flatly said asked Razali. Hmmmm…

Not much talk in here about Bagnaia's start. Seemed like a pretty blatant false start based on the slow motion replays

That was my instinct watching it live. But seeing it again, I think he did a Bottas. He went early but the lights fortuitously changed and he got away with it.

Yeah I thought the same thing when I saw it live too. Was amazed the commentators didn't mention it even when the feed circled Bagnaia to highlight his start in the replay.

Watching it at the slowest playback speed I think he was clearly moving before the lights started going out. I guess the sensors just didn't pick it up for whatever reason. Kind of crazy you can get away with this when they are so strict about the track limits
