Was JJ really braking late?  Grosjean made up half a straight on him under braking, and looked to be able to still easily make the corner except for another car occupying some space in it.

I love being retired, but if there are problems with it, #1 on the list is that everyone else knows you're retired & can't use the "I have to work that day" excuse. I'm also a fairly young retiree, so that adds to that. But yeah, man. It's awesome. I might work again at some point just for the fun of it and for some spending cash, but I won't ever go back to my old career. Sorry o/t!

OT

The first year or so being retired for me was weird. I was a very very busy construction project manager for years, the phone would start ringing at 6AM and not stop until 7PM or so. And then suddenly...silence. Since then though, we bought a 42' coach toured the US and hit 42 of the lower 48 states over a couple of summers which was way cool. Now we've sold the behemoth and bought a much smaller one and will attempt to get it up to Alaska next summer. I'm busier now than I thought I'd ever be upon retiring.

The great thing about retirement is you set, to a considerable degree, both your agenda and your stress level.  It helps considerably to have an agenda.  Stress levels are more a personal thing.

For Jimmie Johnson in an Indycar. Yes.

You're looking at this the wrong way.
Think of us as the guys who got to the track early, set up the canopy and some chairs, and now are saying, "Don't worry, Paul, the beer will still be cold when you get here."

OMFG... Talk about braking late!  No idea how this footage has finally surfaced (via Motorsport Turkey, via Lucas diGrassi???), but here we are.

"A crash has been detected."  :stoned:  :stoned:  :stoned:

It's not much of a look, as it's quickly hidden by the airbag.

Sorry I’m late.
Missed the race and had other issues.
But now I’ve seen it and wow…. Very enjoyable !!!
That GrosJean… What a wonderful entertainer he is.
Haven’t read the whole thread so if the scores have been posted already I’m sorry for more Misery/Glory
To say I’m overjoyed by loki winning would be an understatement

Hammered this week, just 148.25 with 2035 total.
