It has come to my attention only this weekend that there is prize money for constructors in FE, that Dario seemed to suggest runs into the millions of euros for the front runners. Together with the cost cap this goes a long way to making FE more financially viable for the teams. Good to hear.

So with 100 races gone, what is everyone's favourite race in Formula e history?

Personally, my favourite would be the Mexico City ePrix in season three. Lucas di Grassi tried an offset strategy from the back of the grid, pitting for his second car behind the safety car, and so jumped up to first place when everyone else had pitted, but had his lead eradicated by the safety car. But some great energy management helped by Jerome d'Ambrosio defending on the same strategy meant di Grassi took an unlikely win.

Other contenders, for me, would be:

Buenos Aires season one (the Monaco 1982 of Formula e)

London race two season two (the most bizarre title battle I have ever seen in motorsport, winning the title with fastest lap)

Mexico City season five (di Grassi passing Wehrlein on the run to the line to win)

New York race two season five (just a great race and a particularly good drive from Evans to go from 13th to 2nd. Most races in season five could be contenders; it was certainly my favourite season so far)

Monaco season seven (a great battle for the win between Da Costa, Evans and Frijns, and some cars running two or even three wide further back at Monaco)

London race two season seven (the race where di Grassi pitted under the safety car and passed everyone to take the lead, but was unfortunately disqualified for not fully stopping)

Might go back to Gen 1.
Some classic races back then

- Putrajaya & Buenos Aires 2015, jeez, great races with never-ending drama.

Punta del Este 2018, with an amazing all race-long fight between Di Grassi & Vergne for the win.

- Santiago 2018, with a 4 way battle for the lead and the famous contact between team-mates Vergne & Lotterer

- Marrakesh 2019 was another highlight, with the dramatic D'Ambrosio win with Mahindra as the two BMW crashed out.

- Mexico 2019, man! That Di Grassi overtake on the finish line, beating Wehrlein!

- Monaco 2021 another clear classic: first race in the full GP track and an amazing show, with a last lap overtake at the tunnel for the lead.

So hard to chose!

I miss some of those Gen 1 tracks: Buenos Aires, Montreal, Santiago, Punta del Este would have still looked great with Gen 2.

Better than some of the circuits we've seen lately.

Hopefully Vandoorne will carry number 1 on his car next season, something which has not so far happened in Formula E

Well done Nyck! Does make you wonder how hard this F1 business is when a rookie can score points on his debut in a Williams 🤣
