Just found out that Reinhold Roth has died a few days ago. One of the top 250 men no doubt.

Sad to hear that. The Rijeka accident was really one of the incidents that affected me the most as a young kid following motorcycle racing a lot closer than I do today (those late 80's early 90's "MotoGP" years were really classic).

Condolences to Elfriede and everybody else close to him - he is not (and never was) forgotten!!

Never forgotten indeed. I saw him race quite a few times. Like Rediscoveryx, I was deeply affected by his accident and even more so by the aftermath.
Sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
