Know it's kind of out of the blue and i wont explain why i'm making this poll as there really is no real reason besides plain curiosity. Kind of straightforward i think. The only challenge might be for those who follow drivers or have a few teams they follow, but i'd like this to be a one option per person kind of thing so do your best. Leaving a scapegoat answer for those that don't have it in them to single out their favorites.

All American Racers - Cooper - McLaren

So there's only one team left I feel attached to.

McLaren, for its traditional clinical, professional, cold, unemotional approach.

Ferrari, as i am a masochist who got dragged in to it in the magical days when i was a young, defenseless boy who didn't know better.

Historically, Enstone. Originally because I thought their liveries were beautiful. The green and yellow Camel livery from 1993 was the first one I noticed, just that combination of colours as a kid, I thought they were great. No other team on the grid looked like them. Reignited my love for them in 1998 after a few less pretty years - I loved those baby blue cars, Fisichella and Wurz, underrated quick car, that car could have won a couple of races in 1998, easy. But the whole team by then seemed young, fresh and fun. The opposite of ultra-professional, serious outfits like McLaren and Ferrari, them and Jordan were the fun and personality on the grid. Followed them through their difficult tears after than then their Renault rebirth and bam another gorgeous colour scheme, probably my favourite of all time. Them and Alonso represented, FINALLY, a combination to overthrow Schumacher and Ferrari’s tedious dominance and then their Lotus rebirth, Kimi….all over again.

But I have to admit that their recent era as Renault and now Alpine, I’m kinda missing that spark from them that attracted me in the first place. I can’t put my finger on why, but they don’t inspire me as much anymore and I’d struggle to claim them as my favourite. It’s probably McLaren these days.

Not particularly a fan of a certain team, but until this season I had a lot of sympathy for Haas. Mainly because of their team boss and their sometimes goofy drivers Grosjean and Magnussen. Sympathy is gone now with those Russian roebels pumped into the team.

Aston Martin. They are Canadian (sort of), and so am I. Besides almost everyone here like to crap on them, and I'm a belligerent SOB. I try to stay under control, most of the time anyway.

Same here! Red Bull for that reason. Really hoping they win at least one championship this year and decide to maintain involvement on at least a technical support level for years to come.

Ferrari, plus out of the current teams I always had a soft spot for Sauber, even before the Ferrari/Alfa connection (loved those Petronas liveries).

I would still follow F1 with the same interest if they quit, though.

What is the team? The Team Principal? In which case of the modern teams, I’d pick Mercedes. If it’s the ethos & history then Ron Dennis’ McLaren.

I think there is a certain continuity among the Bruce McLaren - Mayer - Dennis - Brown periods. With ups and downs, of course, but all of them were/are racers to the core and all shared the same corporative culture.

Definitely Mclaren, and not just because Ricciardo drives for them.

They were my team during the Hamilton and then Hamilton and Button era, then the “Alonso” era, and have the most interesting history in f1.

Having said that, I never really support a team primarily so I don’t care all that much. But if I had to pick one definitely Mclaren.

For most sports you’re just supporting a colour, but with F1 we don’t even get to support that as it changes so much!

As an American....Nissan is my favorite car brand, and I naturally gravitated towards INFINITI when I could afford them.

Thus, Renault (Alpine) is my favorite simply from natural selection.

It was INFINITI that introduced me to F1 back in 2011, when I kept hearing about an FX50 Vettel Edition.

I don't have a favourite team but like to see Ferrari, McLaren, Alpha Tauri and Sauber do well.

Also admire Red Bull for their racing sharpness.

McLaren were my childhood heroes, but we grew apart after the departure of Lewis. Love their current spirit and line-up though. I don't think I have a favorite team at the moment. I like to see the RB teams do well and I also admire Mercedes for their achievements.

Ferrari since Alesi and Berger.

To be honest it was because my father had a Fiat and in those days the Ferrari cars had the Fiat logo in their liveries :)

The only team I always root for regardless of drivers is Renault/Lotus/Renault/Alpine so I suppose it's my favourite team. Not even sure why, it just kinda happened. With the other teams it varies a lot depending on the drivers and other stuff.

I guess the survey from a week or so back had some weight stating that McLaren is the most followed team. Of course this poll or that survey don't really represent the whole picture as only a certain part of the fans actually go to websites where they can actually cast their vote. I mean i tend to visit those kind of media places, but i didn't see where the "official" survey actually happened

Originally, Lotus and McLaren, and whoever was beating Ferrari.  Then I followed Senna to Williams, brief as it was, and hung around through thick and thin, so all the gear in the house is Williams.  Now probably back to McLaren.

Williams, although McLaren is much more likeable post Dennis. Total respect to RD, and the accomplishments McLaren achieved while he was running the team.

Ron Dennis and his clinical operation was a massive boost in the 80s/90s when teams were a bit more average. Very much like the first super fit drivers over the old guard.

My favourite is and was always Mclaren sincs 1991 with Senna.
But i have favourite drivers and also support the team they are driving for.
But when they leave that team I no longer really support that team.

Williams since seeing their FW07 car when I was a kid, even though this would have been the mid 80s, so probably running the FW11 by then. I only started really following F1 in '88, so the Judd year for Williams. Strange to think back then that it was such a bad year, I'd happily see them that far up these days.

I tend to have my preferences more in drivers than in teams, from Jim Clark through Jackie Stewart via Jody Scheckter and Nelson Piquet to Michael Schumacher, Jenson Button and now Max Verstappen. But if I have to choose a present team is has to be Ferrari for its history and passion.

It's a British based board speaking English. You'll get different results if you run this poll through people in Southern Europe.

There are millions of Ferrari-loving Brits. I'm not one of them but it's hardly something to cause offence!

For me, McLaren of the active teams I suppose, but Lotus all-time by far.
