Inter-esting...but not surprising considering I recall someone pointing out that Westbrook simply wasn't quick enough in the Cadillac. Like Alexander Sims, he simply never looked comfortable.

I wonder how much of that was down to set-up? Someone mentioned that the Caddy was very tricky to drive, especially on the brakes. And all of Porsche's gains late in the year came as they learned more on the settings so they could improve tire life and find grip.

I guess we'll see... if he's close to the pace of the Penske drivers in the JDC car I'd imagine it was more a car/driver combo just not meshing vs Westy being uncompetitive, kinda like Ricciardo at Mclaren.
That said, I wonder what JDC's expectations are? Jota is proving that a competently run privateer 963 can match the Penske cars, but do Proton/JDC have what it takes to get to that level? JDC certainly had some moments in the DPi era...

JDC did score a 4th place at Mosport, ahead of both Penske Porsches. I believe there was a late caution clogging the field back up though.

One of the drivers at the test was apparently Paul-Loup Chatin (and I'm head-over-heels in love with that car

Alpine has to be the most beautiful of these new cars, certainly of the LMDhs. Tail light is brilliant.
