I've read Atlas for the last two plus years as well as Autosport.com and others.

Atlas is clearly the best site for F1 news and the surprise is that it (and Autosport.com)
have been free for so long. I hope you have not been put off by the rudeness of some
of the freeloaders we can now say goodbye to.

I've happily paid my annual subscription and think it's extremely good value.

Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to the improvements you have planned ansd,
if you are catering for "only" 5-10,000 I'm sure the content will gradually change to
reflect the wishes of the real enthusiasts who are prepared to pay a small price to be members.

I read Atlasf1 for the first time in 1996 and used the good e-mail notification on test/qual/race-results but "monaco..."-somthing. (Can't remember the exact name :) )

I re-joined Atlas this spring and suddenly it was locked for guys without credit cards. I'm not directly ashamed to say that I don't have one being 34, but if you see what I've been up to in my life it figures not to apply for one until the do is there.

bira, I however see that you guys can "arrange" something, like maybe a moneyorder, check or something. I'll be interisted if given the chance. Otherwize I have to wait until end of July, when my first BIG paycheck comes myway. (Currently student).

I just subscribed as a way of saying thanks to AtlasF1 for being my favorite website for the past 5 years. Thanks AtlasF1.

It is now three weeks since Atlas F1 became a subscription site. I have not subscribed and I was wondering what subscribers thought of the new site. Are there any improvements or is it still the same great quality site?

I have been reading all my news at DailyF1. I find that it is reasonably reliable. Atlas F1 have their main article as an interview with Paul Stoddart. DailyF1 also have an interview with Paul on their site. Is there any noticable difference in the quality of the interviews? (Gotta love Stoddart's blunt replies) Are the articles generally better? Is the news more up-to-date?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Bex37,

I haven't seen DailyF1's interview with Stoddard, but the AtlasF1 one is very good. As a matter of fact, exclusive interviews are one of the great improvements at Atlas since the subscription service started: we are getting at least one almost every week, sometimes two.

The layout of the magazine articles has changed, it allows easy navigation of that week's issue, and it looks very slick (if you read each issue's free article(s) you must have noticed).

The news room has improved by a long shot, as it now offers news in threads, making the task of following stories that unfold over days, weeks, or months easy peasy to follow through. I'm not sure about this, but I think news in threads have never been offered by any other news room.

What else? There is a stronger sense of "being part" now... I don't know how to explain it, but even before Atlas went on to subscription mode I felt strongly about it, and now I feel like I'm being rewarded for my faith in the team that makes this wonderful publication.

Well, this is terrible for me, I can't afford this at all.

That's sad, I think about myself all the time, but you, bira and the people of Atlas are thinking about me too. You bring me the best coverage of F1 currently available and I will forever appreciate having been able to access this coverage freely. It's one of the best services on the net, and I'd be more than ready to pay, not only for a year of usage, but for all my previous years if I weren't experiencing money problems right now.

I hope that in the future the Atlas F1 site will be available as it has been so I can pay for it and use it. I regret having to look other ways for my F1 coverage, it has been a great time, and I hope that some time in the near future I can pay for it.

Meanwhile, thanks for informing me extensively about my main interest for so long, and I wish you all the best in all future!!
