Hello everybody,

i'm searching for informations about the race engineers of all drivers and teams in F1 from 1995 to 2002. Found many informations on Google, old magazines or comments from pictures but there is still much work to do for me. So if anybody has good sources i would be very thankful.

The picture below shows my actual progress. If you find a mistake you're very welcome to tell.

Thanking you in anticipation,

I just want to clarify you are talking about race engineers and not #1 and #2 mechanics?

If so:

Tyrrell:

David Brown - Salo 95-97 & Takagi 1998

Alex Varnava - Rosset - 98

Are you sure about that? David Brown was Race Engineer at Williams, responsible for Damon Hill in 1995 and 96, than left to McLaren to work work with Coulthard. Or is there just another person with the same name?

Yes I'm sure. Different man. David Brown is a common name in Britain.

Yes, Richard is of course right. The David Brown who joined us at Tyrrell in 1995 came from a background of working at Reynard. Good guy.

Thank you very much for those informations!

Now, i'm a little stunned. I did not expect to find contemporary witnesses here so i'm really glad to read that.

With a friend i'm working on a modification of a F1 management game and i want it to become as historical correct as possible, thats why i'm searching for the teams staff. The earlier the season the harder it is to find people who worked there (except team manager or lead designers ect.). Especially the very small teams like Pacific or short living teams like Lola are hard to find.
