I’ve gave it a 1. Horrible dangerous circuit. Dirty driving. Horrific Masi. It was entertaining but I don’t want to race here again.

Best driver: Esteban Ocon
Worst driver: Yuki Tsunoda (fast becoming a norm)
Best team: Mercedes
Worst team:-
Best overtake: Max on Lewis at 2nd restart
Worst overtake: Tsunoda on Vettel
Best moment: If best means exciting then hard to choose
Worst moment: OCO losing podium by 0.1s

And the race in a sentence: 10/10 - unlike other street tracks, race was not a procession and heat of title fight just make it a good show

Awesome track for qualification
But awful for racing, way too dangerous.

Chaotic race, but not necesarily good! It's the first time that I'm not sure what grade to give this race because it wasn't boring to recieve a middle grade or a bad grade, but this is also not my idea of a fantastic race with so many incidents and such a strange circuit!

Probably the worst race of all time. Spain 1999, you’re off the hook. Give me Jacques Villeneuve jumping up to third and a McLaren demonstration run over that ****ing mess any day. Max and Lewis can’t race each other. They’re bringing out the worst in each other and it’s such a shame. I think Max was worse today don’t get me wrong, but for Verstappen to basically try everything to screw over Lewis and yet still feel a bit disappointed that Mercedes managed to overcome them….that’s my conflict. Watching that race today, that for me was like watching Manchester United play Millwall. I don’t want either of them to win, so I’d rather just turn over and watch Hey Dugee or something, forget it’s even happening. Lalala, I can’t hear you. And up till lately, I thought Max was putting together THE best F1 campaign I’ve seen since Alonso in 2012 and Lewis had matured into this incredible, complete, Prost-like package. I’m disappointed with both of them. They’re spoiling the exact thing they set up so brilliantly.

Bottas overtaking Ocon on the line was the final kick to the balls that we all needed after sitting through that mess wasn’t it.

Trying to pick a worst moment from that race?

Best driver - Ocon
Worst driver - Verstappen by a landslide, let’s be honest.
Best team - Alpine
Worst team - Aston Martin
Best overtake - Does Ocon’s start count?
Worst (non attempted?) overtake - Hamilton on Max
Best moment - nothing
Worst moment - take your ****ing pick mate
Race in a sentence - boooooooo.

Best driver: Hamilton & Verstappen. They are both at their limit this year.
Worst driver: Tsunoda was clumsy today.
Best team: The F1 paddock behind the garages for withstanding this many races.
Worst team: Michael Masi and the people he leads.
Best overtake: Verstappen at the second(?) restart, probably.
Worst overtake: No comment.
Best moment: Leaving Jeddah.
Worst moment: Arriving in Jeddah.

And the race in a sentence: It leaves me with a sour taste in the mouth, the whole thing didn't feel good.

That's the issue.

It was entertaining, nevertheless it wasn't good for our health and sports code either.

IMO the track is a bit too much in terms of causing incidents and accidents. In the future if things go like today, we just do not have clean races where progresses are made. To interruptive and a lottery.

Disorganised, dangerous, shocking performance from Massi

Never thought I'd see the day a team was asked if it would like to follow the rules and perhaps if its not too much trouble give back the place, perhaps, please?

As a race maybe a 2. The fact that it makes the last race a "winner take all", one race WDC race - a 10.

Voted 3/10. It didn't feel like a real race to me, artificial drama. The last 15 laps were exciting, but even that was as a result of nonsense that occurred earlier. We shouldn't be racing in SA, it's a human rights hell hole and someone's pockets have been lined.

The only positive is nobody was seriously injured on what is a horribly dangerous track.

All year I've rated the previous races with a 5 at least because for me, no matter how "boring" an F1 race gets, it still is fun to just see the cars driving around and even if we can't truly appreciate it, drivers are still going at it behind the wheel and there's fun in that, even in stale races.

This however, I rate it a 1/10. This is exactly what I don't want to see. No build up because of the annoying and constant pauses, F2 level racing with drivers not respecting each other and crashing at every opportunity and so on. I don't think you can even blame the track 100% for all this, all of it was poor and embarrassing. As an unintended comedy I guess it could work, I'm sure in time I'll come to appreciate the hilarious parts, but right now I just feel frustrated and I wish it could've been a more normal race. None of this was needed for an exciting finale.

I dont know why is the circuit being blamed for some drivers binning it?

Mick just lost it out. The 2nd incident involving Perez, Mazepin could happen at any street circuit too. Then the debris for which we had subsequent VSC was result of Tsundo destroying Vettel AM. On top of that RC hesitation to put a full SC to clear debris meant VSC kept on coming and going. Alonso was furious on radio that what is stopping RC to put a full SC.

The bit of shitshow with VSC we saw today was result of RC mismanaging more than nature of track.

It was amazing action, had so many talking points, and then driver I wanted to win did so to level the championship.

…and I still can’t say that I actually enjoyed it. Just didn’t feel like an proper F1 race.

Best driver: Ocon
Worst driver: Verstappen
Best team: I don’t think any team stood out.
Worst team: The team of Stewards.
Best overtake: Tsunoda on the outside of Leclerc
Worst overtake: Take you pick of ones that ended in collisions.
Best moment: When I turned the tv off.
Worst moment: “We could move you back two places or I can send it on to the stewards, which would you prefer.”

And the race in a sentence: A complete farce from start to finish, if I could have given it a zero I would have. 0/10

Shamefully inconsistent stewarding, a track that could be an industrial estate, nothing more needs to be said.

I'll be honest, Masi pissed me off so much with the unnecessary red flags that I missed the middle part of the race. But it looks like I only saved myself from more frustration. This race was just too much in every possible way.

In a sentence: Bewildering, but fitting for how the second half of this championship has played out.

(BTW for me a 1 would be Imola 94 weekend or the like, so the bar for a garden variety debacle starts at 2)

The highlights were enough for me. Garbage track limits abuse, garbage DRS. Only exploding Pirellis were missing on this demonstration of all the worst aspects of F1. It was not a proper motor race, but it was sure a proper F1 race.

Gave it a 10. Emotions ran high, two drivers on the very limit, next race will be deciding as I wished for prior to this race. I prefer a race like this over the zillion boring races of the last decades any day. Hope they will battle until the last corner and decide the championship in a fair way in the final race. Masi had a difficult job to do, but imho he did nothing wrong. Regarding the collison: telemetry will decide who is to blame. Hope both of them are not to blame and the final weekend will start with a clean sheet. Can’t wait

Worst moment clear rulebreaking, stewards wtf was that, dangerous track
In one sentence, big scandal that gets people talking but made sport look really bad

3/10 as the track invites endless SC, VSC and red flags.  Not really suitable for a proper race to get going.  Lot's happened though.  But it was a low quality race.

Awful racing etiquette but nothing to do with the track.

It was better than plenty of awful places that we go to, and the drama was brilliant. Loved this one.

People were moaning 5 laps in when nothing was happening and then moaning when there was a bit of chaos mid-race. You can’t please everyone.

Best moment:  An irate Wolff and his headphones.

F1, the Pro Wrestling of motorsports.

I gave it a 1 as a sporting event.

As entertainment, it was on par with a monkeys feaces-throwing contest...

Best driver: Esteban Ocon stood out.
Harsh losing the podium that way.

Worst driver: Yuki Tsunoda (that whole bit around when he drove over the broken wing was just embarrassing)

Best team: Mercedes

Best overtake: Verstappen restart

Worst overtake: Raikkonen failed move on Vettel

Best moment: Hamilton’s first attempt into T1 on Verstappen didn’t come off but it was thrilling.

Worst moment: the VSCs were quite frustrating.

1. Can't be behinded with the other elements. Whoever you want to see win the title, race control were higher than astronauts strapped to ionosphirec kites.

Nobody should be happy with this race, as the whole thing was so far beyond farce even my screen name would need an as yet uninvented telescope to see it.

Race would have got a solid 8 or 9 in terms of my excitement levels

It looses 100 points for race direction

It won't let me do minus points so we will call it a 1

Today's race was surreal. While I have praised F1's leadership for its level-headed calls on some particularly tough incidents this season, today was an utter letdown. The laps that Hamilton and Verstappen spent toward the end playing "after you" in an attempt to appease a headless race control were the most ridiculous minutes I've seen in F1 since the start of the 2005 USGP. Two title contenders, with but a single race to go, actively NOT racing one another and forcing one another off the road... what?

Kudos to Hamilton, Verstappen, Mercedes, and Red Bull for reminding me why I have a hard time supporting anyone in this sport. All showed themselves to be shits today. The only allegiance I've got left is to Honda, who I'd love to see somehow pull it off at the end, but I doubt it as Merc will be too quick in Abu Dhabi–whether the bastards in silver or blue shirts win I don't particularly care. They're all still bastards.

A shameful day. Wish the clock could be turned back to yesterday and we could try this one again; it was all set up to be so good...

I won't deny that the track is rather dangerous but it is a very spectacular and highly technical track (to get a lap right) and that we saw some incidents had more to do with the driving than with the track and the F2 starting crash could have happened on any track. I don't think it's a bad track at all on the contrary, it is a very tricky track with some danger yes but a bad track? Certainly not. Strange that people on this forum often complain about the lack of risk or the lack of difficulty at many circuits and now we get exactly that and people again complain.

I hated this race even though Hamilton still won, the track was ridiculous and Masi continues to be out of his depth.

Since when did they negotiate penalties with teams? Embarrassing weekend for the sport, and I'm fully expecting a repeat of it next weekend.
