I actually didn't realise this was Albon yelling over the radio until I saw this clip on YouTube. Bit of an odd one but it was much better than if it was Horner!

 

Hopefully there's a clip of Alex doing it. I have to wonder if he just gazumped everyone else before they had a chance lol. I heard he was on the pitwall but haven't seen anything.

 

Anyway, I thought it was cool, and I'd be interested to hear the details a bit more, could be funny.

 

edit: seems it may have not been Albon after all? Certainly did sound like him, but may have been GP. First thread I've started in 5 years and it should probably have a question mark at the end of it now

It would have been funny if it was, but the more I look at it now the more I think it's GP.

 

Reddit and Youtube claiming it's Alex did catch me out though.

 

I definitely had an image in my head of Albon grabbing the mic lol.

The whole lot of them sound the same  .  GP and Horner are indistinguishable. The video here does sound like Albon.  "oh my lord" seems like a very Albon thing to say.
