I wouldn’t call Rosberg weak!

The equality adds to Lewis legacy for me. He has had highest quality of teammates especially when compared to Max and Michael.

Alonso, Jenson, Nico and George who else on the grid has had anything close to that level of teammate.

Of course I would love Gasly, Albon and Checo which top driver wouldn’t

Alonso has had Lewis, Kimi, Jenson and, for a few races, Jacques. In terms of non-WDCs who have won GPs, he has had Jarno, Giancarlo, Felipe and, of course, Esteban.

Lovely fair well present.  I wonder if he's leaving the team or just become more factory based?

Stylish is not the word I would use to describe much of the stuff he wears.

Saw " as The New York Times has listed" and stopped reading....

.... anyway I saw something once about his stylist being based in Brooklyn (yes, he actually pays someone to pick out clothes for him that make him look like a clown ...) so I am guessing either his stylist has a mate who works for the NYT or the owner of the Hilfiger Brand has paid for LH to be included in this list.

BTW I actually saw someone wearing an LH branded piece of apparel from Hilfiger ... it was a tough looking Eastern European bloke. He was wearing a black denim jacket - I wondered how much he knew about the (purported) designer.  :p

Anyway ... I wish every success to LH in his fashion endeavours ... he has worked very hard for it.

It is stylish and cutting edge, but certainly not classic. I'm glad I live in a place where black T-shirts, and blue jeans are considered acceptable for any occasion not requiring specific sporting attire.

I see or hear comments like "stylish and cutting edge" and immediately think of the story "The emperor's new clothes".

It is worth nothing that the opinions of us (usually) old (and mostly) white men regarding fashion, let alone the more 'high' fashion world, are positively hilarious to everyone else.

Oh please, don't adopt modern propaganda quite so easily. The world doesn't really divide into ghastly old-white-men and the allegedly progressive rest of the population.

I know a few people not-men, not-white and not-old, with taste.

This is a motorsport forum though and most of the 'oh young people your clothes are so ghastly, why cant you wear slacks and a polo shirt and have a sensible haircut' contingent are old like me and white like me. Not all of course but most.

But then you define 'what you like' as 'taste', where I take a less sure-of-myself approach, and know lots of people probably have a snigger at our dad-fashion.

Brooklyn?  That explains a lot.  But at least it isn't Staten Island.

And yet I have rarely, if ever, seen anyone young or old, of any ethnicity, wearing clothes like those that Lewis seems to favour.

Hamilton marches to the beat of his own drum. I personally wouldn't wear some of the stuff he wears, but he's clearly comfortable in his own skin, which is all that matters really.

I agree and good for him.

But the suggestion made above that only old white men find his choice of apparel a bit odd was way off target.

Actually quite accurate and those who judge him are mostly of the higher class "if someone does not have the correct dress code" they don't fit into "society" a very judgement outlook on people.

People can wear what they want without judgement from certain classes etc, and his style is modern and stylish, and its credit to him that he is confident to go out and wear he likes as such a high profile figure, instead of being forced to wear "what some think is normal"

Impressively short sentence in which to demand people not to judge and then immediately judge it yourself.

It's not really a big deal either way. Some like it, some don't, so what. Certainly Hamilton has come a long way since teaching his little nephew (?) not to wear girls clothes, back in the day. :D

Most people wear boring, bland coloured clothes. Need more variety and styles, and lots of colours. Look at the Beatles with their cool coloured clothes. Awesome.

And also imaginary.

/I said 'usually' and 'mostly'. I'm sure there are stuffy pompous young people of varied ethnicities as well, just not many of them around here.

This. Who am I to judge his outfits, it's not like he's my partner or parent.

He never met Lewis and he would like to, hope they do something about that.

2022 Season Review....

That's some winning mentality when you start a video with let's see how 3 of us failed this year and the team...but you got a win, 17 podiums and P3 in WCC.
