Whilst Michael Masi thought he created the biggest controversy in Abu Dhabi, it was nothing compared to the controversy around what happens in HLWITTLM when our driver Nikita Mazepin is ruled out before the race due to COVID!

 

I know there was some discussion in the Guesses thread about this, but as pointed out, in the beginning of the season post the rules state that if Nikita is ruled out of a race weekend and only one Haas starts then we will take that Haas (ie. Schumacher) as the driver to be scored.  And I'm Australian, so I can make the rules up as I go along anyway....

 

So onto the results.....

 

Mick Schumacher managed to complete 29 laps on the lead lap.  Bleu takes out the round win with f1paul and your host sharing 2nd place.

With a come from behind win on the last lap just like Verstappen, the winner is scheivlak!        alekracing comes in 2nd with 3rd place shared by Makarias and Brawn BGP 001.

This is a game I messed up this year. I started the season with a backmarker attitude (only this year I've realised this has been my problem for many years) and risked a lap1 retirement for Mazepin. It didn't happen. So I thought "now I need to risk it again because that's the only way to come back". And it didn't happen yet again. After a few more rounds I did it another time for the same reason. And it didn't happen again. Yet my final result is only 52 laps from P1. If I didn't use that stupid tactics over and over again, I would have likely ended up pretty close to the top. Don't know if it will make any difference for the Supercup, possibly not, because despite winning at least 2 games, I was outside top10 in too many games (for such a small player base this year), but it well could have.
