Quoting Helmut Marko , really

Why do you bother to respond?  Is there a point you wish to make?

Hamilton
Russell
Norris
(Yep triple Brits!)

Merc
Mclaren
RB

Can't bet against Merc. Would have had easily best car 8 years on the trot had they not been hamstrung in the last year. That doesn't happen by chance.

What is the basis for all these predictions?

Nobody has any clue about the competitive order of the cars for 2022.

It's a full reset for 2022 and any results from the past are meaningless for 2022.

Teams don't just produce great cars by chance. It comes from the quality of leadership, internal personnel, structure, culture and money (not in that order!).

So unless an underdog team does a Brawn GP, then taking a punt on which teams are most likely going to do best from the new regs isnt so futile.

Yet they didnt have any clear advantages anymore. This caused both Mercedes and Hamilton to go to great lengths to stay ahead of Red Bull and Verstappen. I wouldnt be that confident that Mercedes will have that clear lead (again) even if I was a Mercedes or Hamilton fan.

Huh?

Merc were hamstrung by a rule change they couldn't react to. It was the same car as the previous year with minor mods required by the rule change that hugely hindered the car...
