I would love a livery like their iconic testing one.

I certainly won’t miss the Coastliner livery.

An homage to Winfield red, perhaps?

I believe red is in yes

Both the Thai and Canadian flags have red…

Red isn't "more Williams".
No but I believe they mean “more Williams” because of the dark blue…

I certainly won’t miss the Coastliner livery.
At least it was unique compared to many of the boring (corporate) liveries these days.
I loved the '80s liveries of Williams (well most teams had more simple but much more iconic liveries back then). The Fly Saudi / Leyland livery was iconic, so was the Fly Saudia / Ici / Denim levery from '84 but I think I like their '86 livery the most: it's so recognisible as a Williams livery:
Here the 1990 livery with Thierry Boutsen in the car. Again: that iconic Williams livery from that era.
I did like the toothpaste livery that they used in the winter of 2020 quite a bit though. It had a typical '90s flavour.

I liked last years livery. It was unique and very different to others with some 90s vibe to it.
certainly much better than 2019-2020.

Shade of blue matches with Williams. And Sam says this won't be the last time we will be seeing this livery...
So Zoom to sponsor Williams? If not, why a change of livery again now?

Could be just that this showcar will be travelling to more events

I found the 2021 livery extremely corporate, looked like an ad for generic tech startup #36547.At least it was unique compared to many of the boring (corporate) liveries these days.

Anything is better than the 2019 livery though, which might be the worst in F1 history being the epitome of blandness while still being one of the ugliest I've ever seen. The garish FI BWT liveries were at least distinctive (as are most ugly liveries).
My favorites are the 93 and 94 liveries, which certainly has nothing to do with me first watching F1 in 1993.

I really believe in Jost Capito. I think he is the right person to help Williams team. It was a shame Jost didn't get the chance to start his job at McLaren and they parted ways so early.
Talking of livery, not long ago ...

Excellent bus route though. Very frequent, and some lovely sea views on the way.

Last year's livery grew on me as the year went on. I think the fact that the car saw a slight upturn in Williams favour did it no harm either. Unlike that monstrosity in my profile picture.

I liked last year's livery from the first time I saw it on track. I thought it looked smart.
Then again, one of my favourite Williams liveries was 1999, so maybe my opinion doesn't count.

Don't you worry, mine is too.except for last year, which was not pretty at all. In my opinion.

So what is the fan-favourite Williams livery?
While I love the Rothmans livery, they aren't really unique to Williams. Ram-March ran them in the early 1980s and arguably Porsche made them more famous.
My pick would be the Saudia/TAG/Leyland livery which established Williams as winners and is unique.

Jost does seem to bring a lot of confidence and experience from other motorsport categories. He also seems to have steadied the ship from a team structure perspective.
Really love that dark blue livery, it’s a classic.

The Rothmans ones are probably my favourite, and at least the Williams versions were different to the RAM and Porsche ones to make them distinctive in their own right.
The Canon ones are my second favourite, encompassing 1985-1993. For me they’re the most identifiable Williams liveries. The blue, white and yellow combination is very unique and distinctive.
I also have a soft spot for the Compaq/HP ones.

I’d just add, I don’t see the logic of discounting a livery because other teams have used the same sponsors. Imagine saying Marlboro couldn’t be the fan favourite McLaren livery because it was identical to Alfa Romeo, Penske, and countless others.

That of the FW14B, beautiful car with a livery that just pops.

So what is the fan-favourite Williams livery?
I strongly suspect my opinion is not representative of the majority but I loved every single one between 2006 and 2013. Dark blue + white is just like magic for me.

The Cosworth, Toyota and Renault Returns years, they were pretty nice cars to look at, I liked them as well.

It was almost universally hated at first, and I'm sure I was among those not liking it, but seeing it on track i'd say it was the most distinctive of the lot. People adored the Aston livery, but on track TV footage just showed it as black.

1st) I'd pick that one too. Simply because it also was a sleek and good livery.l in terms of color usage. Something that cannot be said about the clownesque liveries of the late 80s/early 90s. Even tho the Canon Williamses were the ones that made me a Williams fan, I can never say that they are pretty (albeit my profile picture might say otherwise).
2nd) The Rothmans ones.
3rd) I am cursing in a church right now, but the Winfield ones were actually not bad liveries. I liked them.

I do like a lot of Rothmans & Canon liveries but my favourite is the Martini livery.

Always had a soft spot for the 2007 livery.
Primarily the dark Williams blue, with the softer light blue accents transitioning into the white airbox and nose. Most of their liveries post-BMW seemed to be almost fighting with the contours of the car, but this one was very well done.

It's all subjective and obviously there is no wrong answer but for me, I do prefer a livery that is unique to the team. Rothmans and Martini for example are beautiful liveries but they are just as iconic for Porsche and Lancia or even Brabham, perhaps even more. The green and white livery was unique to Williams.
I never really cared for the Canon/ICI/Denim livery. It just seemed like a mishmash of colours/sponsors, especially when they added Barclay. It just looked like a clown car, especially with the hideous outfits the mechanics wore around it. Despite being their most successful years, it just didn't compare to JPS and Parmalat/Olivetti liveries that shared the grid to name two.
Arghh, edited for spelling...

I couldn't agree more. We don't need more blue and dark cars. Very easy to spot and it worked very well in the colorful grids of those days.

The 2021 livery looks like something you could pick yourself in MyTeam in F1 202x as some generic livery.

I liked the colors, but I didn't like the execution where the car looked white most of the time. Much preferred the 06 and 08 liveries, though I agree with Anderis that the entire stretch from 06-13 had very good liveries. 2006 is probably my favorite from that era, but unfortunately the car itself was a dud.

True, the camera pods on the airbox sides look the same, as the wing mirrors and front suspension. And the brake ducts too.

Anything will be better than last years' livery - it looked like it was fired at the car from a cannon.
Williams' best liveries always feel more elegant than exciting to me; personal favourites being the 86, 93, 94, 96 and 03 cars.
