The one time this season when possibly the best opportuniy for a good result could have arisen and Albon had to get health problems...

It seems Williams used all of their good luck quota for this decade last year already.

At this point I'm willing to believe that the "next season focus" is a deliberate long term PR stunt to relieve the team some scrutiny- as then you'll only be criticised for poor car development in the first half of the season each year. :p

Driver choice seems to make good change. Strategic operation on poaching reserve drivers could do good for the team??

It's also clear the car is a mid-field effort in the last couple of years, and not rooted to the back, only able to score a few points through George Russell's "brilliance".

Engineers at Williams should be seething, ffs, and it's also very clear that a bad driver can make a decent car look slow.

This is why traditionally Patrick Head loved Alan Jones and Nigel Mansell, they always drove at 100%, Testing, FP and Races. They always knew the max potential of the car.

Latifi has to go, De Vries needs the whole second half to acclimatise and be alongside Albon. Although Albon may need a few weeks recovery.
