Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out who was "Gui des Aunaies", Panhard-Levassor driver in 1900.
The newspaper "La Côte d’Azour Sportive" (Feb 22, 1900) says he was "G. Hénon", another Panhard-Levassor driver active the previous year (Paris-Bordeaux, Paris-Saint Melo, Paris-Trouville).
Does anyone have any other information about this guy? Was "Gui des Aunaies" a pseudonym of Mr. Hénon?

There was a Georges Hénon born in 1859, who up to the turn of the century had a bicycle shop at Issy-les-Moulineaux, later a garage and in 1914 an agency for the Violet-Bogey voiturette.
Possible that this Georges Hénon started at the wheel of No. 38 Panhard in the 1900 Nice-Marseille race under the nom de course "Gui des Aunaies" (Hénon backwards = Nonèh = N...aunaies).
