Born in Meran, so he is from South Tyrol. You shouldn't call him an Italian face to face!
I would have to since he hold exactly two passports an Italian and a US.

Good luck with that, but with all due respect, your understanding of Südtirol and their people is very close to zilch.

Sorry but he is Italian regardless of what you say, or which ethnic subgroup he belongs to.

I'll take a guess here, you are of Italian descent.

Italy is a mish-mash of languages and dialects. Standard Italian is in fact the Tuscan dialect but you can find French, German, Ladin and Friulian speakers as well as the dialects of Venice and Sicily (which both claim to be different languages) and even the heavily Catalan influenced speech of Sardinia. But they are all Italians.
Meran(o) is a lovely place, well worth visiting.

The media slash recieved by HAAS & Steiner is incredible! As likeable as Mick is, he just failed to delivered. To me, he had the advantage (or disadvantage, depends how you view it) of having the name "Schumacher", so the expectations and the hype were blown out of proportion! He was also lucky to be paired with such a terrible driver as Mazepin in his first F1 season and that kind of made him look good. Ever since before he joined F1, I always felt that he was "pushed" towards the spotlight, without proving to be anything special and these two years just prove my point. It's true that there are a lot of drivers on the grid who set the bar very high like Max, Lewis, George, Charles and a couple of others, but the bottom line is that unless you are Lance Stroll, YOU HAVE TO BE VERY GOOD and Mick simply wasn't.
I believe that Hulk's career ran its course, he was a decent driver, even pretty good I'd say, but nothing impressive and probably younger guys deserved a shot at F1, but in the same time, I can see why the chose him over Mick: makes less mistakes, is pretty good and consistent and has more experience. So I can't blame the team one bit.
To conclude, although HAAS dropping him made me a bit sad, it's all very understandable, if you judge results alone: plenty of crashes - which I believe was the key factor, as this isn't a top team and most of the times overshadowed by K-Mag. I will be pleasantly surprised if he comes back one day, but at the same time, I won't miss him as he didn't show anything impressive in his 2 years of driving in F1.

I am not.

Can't blame Mick when Kevin was often bit worse than him on racepace lately.
Car became a dog, mostly 9th and sometimes even 10th fastest in races (Mexico and Abu Dhabi minus Latifi) or even including Latifi (Spa and Monza).
maybe you should read up on strategies.
people doing a 1 stop strat. will obviously nurse tires versus drivers on multiple stops so trying to draw a line between laptimes, is useless.
Mick has been displayed four ways to sunday by Magnussen and why Mick is out the door even though Mick Schumacher comes with tons of german sponsor money and got a big daddy name, where Magnussen is a paid driver.
Mick Schumacher were simply not good enough, and why he gone, and all the german money didnt change that.
Schumacher and Marzepin were a lifeline under an intense pandemic that hurt a small team like Haas a lot..

The car was on a similiar pace with Mercedes (IMHO Haas was even faster) during race 1 & race 2.
Just to nail these two weekends with both cars and they would have been on P6 in the WCC right now, but Magnussen's lack of preparation and Schumacher's lack of everything back then prevailed them from that.
Team's mistakes later in the season cost them mostly lower points finishes.
"magnussen's lack of preparation"???
Say what?

That radio to Mick scolding him for doing doughnuts tells you all you need to know.
Ayao Komatsu, who didn't want Mick to do donuts after his final race, is the one who also seem to have some personal issue with Mick.
The biggest joke is that Komatsu really said that Haas would have beat Williams in 2021, had Kevin been driving, absolutely crazy stuff
"Then Kevin came along and that gave us a reference. We think that with our 2021 car we would have been safe against Williams – we could have fought if we’d had Kevin back then."
I have a feeling there have been more going on behind the scenes at Haas then we know about.
Enough with the conspiracy theories. The team don't wanna risk Mick doing more car damage or getting fined by the powers that be.

I don't even think it was personal, Grosjean was told off for the same reason a few years back, maybe the team needed the parts for the post-season test.

My question is, why was Mick doin donuts to begin with? What has he done to deserve it?
Too much sympathy because of Michael. This kid gets too much slack imo.
Calm down Günther.
They are celebrating the end of a season, Mick got his best F1 results this year so far and it's a nice show element for the fans. Nothing wrong about it.

I din't think Mick is as dense to celebrate his "achievements" this year, not for a second. More likely it was meant as a farewell gesture to Seb, they are really quite close.

They will both have lots of time for long country walks together now.

Oh dear, do I really need to explain it?
The guy was thrown in after a one year break and completed only one day of pre-season testing.
Magnussen reckons he could have qualified as high as fifth, but neck trouble became an issue in Q3 and he had to settle for 10th.
Magnussen says his neck "just broke in Q3" in Jeddah

Steiner: “On Thursday I met Mattia Binotto and he told me that next season's engine will be the bomb,”

Because double entendres are a thing, I will be curious how prophetic are the words (one way or another) from a man who has resigned his leadership position.
