The problem is what happened last season wasn’t only sport.

Decisions were taken for the sake of the “show”. This is the reason people are still going on about it .. what happened was in no way sporting. And it wasn’t limited to AD. The last 4 races were a low point in the history of the sport.. rules bent or ignored so as not to hurt the show culminating in AD.

But didn't the teams agree on that beforehand , wanting to end the race under green and apparently leaving that decision in Masi's hands  ?

(Just to beat that dead horse again in this micro cosmos while the real world moved on lang ago )

No.  The teams never said 'let's throw out the rules and make a stage managed last lap finish for the cameras and while we're at it screw 1 driver over.'

That depends on Masi's definition on ending under green  .

I'm saying that the whole time. Thankfully the rightful winner still came trough in the end, despite it all.

I think you guys need this thread https://forums.autos...cider-race-day/

If there’s some news about Masi entering a new motorsports role, we can start a new thread. For now, there’s nothing to talk about. Let’s let the man get on with his life.
