Good chance for someone to ask if the front wing vortices of the Aston Matin AM22 is adversely affecting the airflow under the floor at medium to high speeds…

There'll probably be a question about trees or something.

‘Do the panel agree that it is hypocritical to complain about climate change while making millions of pounds via touring the globe on aeroplanes to race petrol guzzling F1 cars around?’

Indeed, I think it’ll be a great addition to the panel.

Really looking forward to it.

As an aside, is this the first time we have someone heavily linked with Motorsport on a QT panel? Did Max Mosley do it at all down the years? In the back of my head I have Jackie Stewart but I don’t think he has been on it…

Max definitely did (you can see clips of it in his film on Netflix).

Considering as well for an entire 22 race season, 20 car grid, including all practice sessions, qualy and race, the amount of fuel the cars burn is roughly equal to one 747 flight from London to New York.

'Question for the panel - we've seen the awful scenes in Ukraine unfold over the last few months which has exacerbated the cost of energy crisis here in the UK, but what are your opinions on having multiple DRS zones at Grands Prix?'

Perhaps Seb could be a future candidate for President of the FIA or some other influential automotive/political position? I am not joking.

It's not the amount of fuel that really counts, but the amount of pollution it generates. How does that compare?

Airliners tend to have an outsize impact on the greenhouse effect too as they deposit their CO2 emissions higher in the atmosphere. Which makes a difference! Or so I've read.

I like Vettel, he comes across sincere and quite funny. He also keeps a very low profile online and seems like he has some decent values so it will be interesting to hear from him outside of a Motorsport context.

I'm assuming it will be environmentalism (didn't he work on a farm one summer break?).

Although being involved with F1 and probably has a huge carbon footprint none of us in the west are without sin in that respect and I thinks it's still important we have this discussion.

I'll be watching anyway.

Or how about that Aston has seen a few people come and go in the last couple of months/weeks?

I’m interested in who pulled off the booking a German Formula One driver for a British political discussion show coup!

Seb’s always been an interesting guy, and has become very comfortable speaking on topics outside of motorsport these last few years. Might watch Question Time for the first times in years.

No surprises really!

In terms of politics, Sebastian Vettel is the most active Formula1 driver with no double standards.

Labour MP - "We didn't have DRS under a Labour government. Look what happened when the Conservatives were elected, within a year we had DRS and Pirelli tyres and we still have them today"

Conservative MP - "Under this Conservative government Lewis Hamilton has become the most successful Formula 1 driver ever. Who was dominant under the Labour government? A foreign driver racing for a foreign team".

Question Time is hugely stage managed, with a hand picked soft left liberal audience whose questions have been carefully vetted.  No embarrassing questions will be allowed for Seb, only ones that show him as  a wonderful human being.  It will be all about his LGBTQ stance and his environmental activities.  No difficult ones about how he puts up with being Lance's bitch or how he manages to overlook racing in countries with dubious human rights record.  Let alone anything about F1's dire environmental impact.

As Seb seems to be well informed, and to have political views he's spent lots of time thinking about....I am sure he'll come up with an answer to any question like that.

I don't think I'll find myself agreeing with some of his political ideology (even if socially we're definitely on the same page) but from what I've seen he's got a genuine interest in several political issues. He is unlikely to be out of his depth and may well provide some interesting and insightful answers.

I still want to join him over a beer and my video collection.

I might actually watch for the first time in 20 years.

Or maybe ask him about his fashion sense?

Sebastian Vettel being significantly more eloquent and rational, in his second language, than the Attorney General, is impressive and also alarming.

To be fair there aren't many F1 questions... Seems like a lot of folk moaning. Maybe Sebs agent thought it was a question of sport.

The audience producer of the show has literally been caught out pushing far right propaganda as well as selecting young Tory activist disguised as audience members. Theres nothing left leaning about the show.

He's a multi-millionaire F1 driver. He can look however he wants IMO. James Hunt apparently used to turn up to corporate events barefoot.
