Conor Daly says "I couldn't see a single thing".
To be fair, if there’s ever a blindfolded Indycar race, he’s a good each way bet…

I'm sure it re runs on Sky this morning.Cutting a deal with Mrs Burtros to allow her to watch Eurovision last night and me the watch the Indycar tonight has not worked out for me. At all!

The thing about a rain race, rare as they are, is we get to reset our calibrations about who the Regenmeister[s] is [are].
Clearly Pagenaud.
Possibly Herta.
Not quite there yet: Palou, McLaughlin, Kirkwood . . .

I’ve been campaigning for longer on-board videos quite a while now… This is the exact reason why.

Green grass, we’re not in Sonoma anymore Dorothy.
I don't want to shock you paul, but that manicured lawn grass isn't native to Indiana either Indiana native grass land would look surprisingly similar to California.
There's plenty of that green grass on California lawns, parks, cemeteries and golf courses too, though increasingly less with droughts and water restrictions.

Looking back.
I should have picked Calderon instead of Palou.

This is a sentence that has never, ever been written before in the history of the world
Don't always agree with you, but Hell, yes.
Eurovision will be a real rollercoaster this year. Will the UK come last? Will Ukraine win, or will they be pipped at the post by Ukraine, unless outsiders Ukraine pull off a surprise?
Got my pick spot on though.
Like shooting fish in a barrel.
UK coming 2nd was a bit of surprise - like Dixon running out of fuel or Palou running out of talent.

I beat a dead horse and look at the response I get, facts! Thanks Jim!!!

I don't generally enjoy the mayhem of changeable conditions, but that was a great race! The Herta slide and recovery sequence was stunning.

I have to admit, I thought Herta would go off when he pitted for slicks so early. Well, he almost did, but that was quite some save by the drummer boy at 5:40.
I still hate the pivoting onboard cameras though. Or the onboard camera pivoters.

Veekay looked very lacking out there too. Which is weird considering he's from Yurup and I've been told that it rains 367 days a year there.

I really enjoyed seeing the race from the stands. We didn't get very wet which was a bonus for the rain we did have. Every year there should be a race like that with changeable conditions that test the pit wall and the drivers. The out lap of Herta's was insane on slicks. A master class on what it truly takes to be a top notch driver. The balls it took and the quickness of his hands. Amazing. We were in Turn 4 of the oval and the guys who had to go out and constantly restart spinners in Turns 1-5 should be given a hand they were fast and got guys going before the pace car came around. Excellent Job Guys
Now we have tickets low in Turn One for the 500

Only just watched the race as I was away for the weekend and I feel I need to go and sit in a dark, quiet room for a few hours to regain some composure.
Feel sorry for Scotty who was doing so well, driving an Indycar for the first time in the wet. I assume the call to stay on slicks was the teams, but it sure wasn't the right one.

Just caught up on this one too. Wow! Kudos for the drivers and the Indycar series to keep the race going through some very tricky conditions.
Talent + correct strategy calls won it for Herta. Cool to see Sato, Pagenaud and (for a long period) Montoya running near the front.

It was probably Herta's save early on but I kept thinking of the 2016 Brazilian GP!
