Best driver:                                         Difficult one to judge, Verstappen clearly had issues with DRS, Russell held off Verstappen for many laps, but did stray over the limit a bit, Hamilton came back from a 1st lap. Bottas carrying the team on his own,
Worst driver:                                       Not sure anybody stuck out as being bad
Best team:                                          Red Bull clearly
Worst team:                                        Maybe Hass or Williams
Best overtake:                                    DRS made it look easy
Worst overtake:                                  A few looked too easy with DRS, probaly Sainz on a hobbled Hamilton.
Best moment:                                     Russell, re-taking Verstappen.
Worst moment:                                   LeClerc engine saying enough
Best thing about the race:                  Three way fight for the podium
Worst thing about the race:               Team orders already.........................

And the race in a sentence: Gave it an 8, not too bad for a Barcelona race, but it was over as a contest as soon as LeCelerc went bang.

Best driver: I’ll give it to Bottas today. Comfortably top of the midfield, made a nuisance of himself for the top teams.

Worst driver: I’d like to know what happened to Albon, otherwise I’d be inclined to give it to Magnussen for throwing away what should have been a good weekend for Haas, or Ricciardo and Gasly for being well off their teammates pace.

Best team: Red Bull 1-2 is hard to look passed, Merc made good progress but both cars with a water leak at the end rules them out.

Worst team: Williams were obviously worst, but based on not fulfilling expectations I suppose that would be Haas. From both cars qualifying in the top ten and coming away with no points is pretty bad.

Best overtake: Hamilton overtaking Sainz, it was just nice to see Merc clearly recovering and being able to challenge at the front again.

Worst overtake: Magnussen on Hamilton. There was a lot of track to Magnussens left.

Best moment: Merc being back in the game, 3 teams battling at the front is better than 2.

Worst moment: Leclerc retiring, never like to see a driver lose a victory to reliability.

And the race in a sentence: 7/10 - Better than I hoped, but errors and problems created more opportunities for entertainment.

I was giving at a 9 around halfway, but the second half was rather flat. So overall a 7.

It was alright 7. Nice to see wind and air temp making some difference. And there were things happening beyond just the cheap DRS. The worst thing was having to hear Verstappen moaning all the time again

This race had everything. Lot's of drama. A comeback drive, unreliability, heart breaking moments. a controversial moment TO at RBR. Russell showing great promise.

Best driver: Leclerc for having it all under control, or Hamilton for a tenacious fightback
Worst driver: Sainz.  So much promise and so little delivery.
Best team: Red Bull.
Worst team:  Alpine?  Not sure.
Best overtake: It was mainly tyre stuff, but Hamilton round the outside of Bottas
Worst overtake: Magnussen on Hamilton
Best moment: Russell's spirited defence against a much faster RB
Worst moment: Leclerc going out
Best thing about the race: No SC
Worst thing about the race: n/a

And the race in a sentence: Above average for Spain.

I' d give it a 8,5. Very entertaining.

I can only give it a 10 with a Mercedes win...*smiling*

Worst team:  Alpine?  Not sure....

That's a new take. Both cars going forward and getting from outside the top 10 to both inside the top 10.

Yes, they had a wheel issue that cost a grand total of 2 seconds on Alonso's last stop. But I believe others can beat that handsomely.

Gave it a 6.....and that mostly because the various failures and technical problems spiced it up a bit. The couple of outside line overtakes were good, reminding me of Villeneuve Jr. doing this to Schumacher Sr. once in 1996. But overall, OK. Worst team: Ferrari (considering expectations). Best team: Red Bull.

And geez Verstappen is a whiner and his high pitched voice makes it worse. Reminds me of Wayne Gretzky!

Best driver: Hammy, he was just ok...I guess... :p
Worst driver: Ricciardo? Teammate was a walking corpse and still finished well ahead.
Best team: RB - Hard to argue with a 1-2.
Worst team: Haas - why are they not scoring points?
Best overtake:  Russell repass on Verstappen was quite nice. Russell will be trouble when he gets a fast car.
Worst overtake:  Kmag on Hamilton
Best moment: RB 1-2
Worst moment: Leclerc was robbed....but hey, it evens out the championship considering Verstappen's similar fortunes.
Best thing about the race: Russell-Verstappen fisticuffs
Worst thing about the race: Took ages to finish.

And the race in a sentence:  Nothing ever happens in Spain   ;)

Best driver: Charles Leclerc, he did everything right. Props to George Russell and Lewis Hamilton.
Worst driver: Daniel Ricciardo and Pierre Gasly did not impress me. I wonder why Alexander Albon was slower than Latifi.
Best team: Red Bull, smart guys.
Worst team: Williams were just slow, Haas had it all wrong strategically but Ferrari should be mentioned as well. (Un)reliability could well be the deciding factor this season.
Best overtake: Russell's repass on Max
Worst overtake: Verstappen on Perez
Best moment: George Russell defending brilliantly and completely fair
Worst moment: Poor Charles
Best thing about the race: Mercedes joining the party
Worst thing about the race: director missing some action

And the race in a sentence: one of the better Spanish GPs. A solid 7.

Worst driver: Ricciardo and KMAG
Best team: Red Bull looked the strongest
Worst team: Williams

Worst overtake: Red Bull’s team orders
Best moment: Russell in his comeback move on Verstappen

Second this, pretty much on spot for me with the exception of team orders of RB. Perez was never in for this to win on hindsight of you saw the bigger pictures. And it was only for 2 laps or so that Perez was within 2sec of Max and they took Max in for the Soft (gave the race a 5).

Driver of the weekend: Felipe Drugovich: winning twice and the second time from 10th on the grid, untouchable!

Best driver in F1:   - Charles Leclerc

Honourable mentions:  - Lewis Hamilton  (great recovery drive), George Russell, Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel (clearly better as Stroll this weekend), Yuki Tsunoda (outperformed Gasly this weekend), Valtteri Bottas (not his best race but again a nice points haul), Sergio Perez (for beiing a great team player)
Worst driver:  - Mick Schumacher quite easily the worst because he had a quick car and didn't make use of it: his terrible pace forced his team to go longer and hope for a safety car.

Honourable mentions worst drivers:  - Alex Albon: probably got stuck behind Latifi early in the race, his worst race of the year or did he have a technical problem?

                                                                - Lance Stroll was driving poorly,

                                                                - Guanyu Zhou was invisible until he retired with engine woes

                                                                - Carlos Sainz seems to be making more driver errors this year than the past couple of years added up, it's getting embarassing

Best team:   Red Bull, Mercedes  (they cleary improved this weekend)
Worst team: Williams

Most lucky drivers:  Max Verstappen & Carlos Sainz Jr. for managing to continue after visiting the gravel trap.

Most unlucky drivers of the weekend:  Charles Leclerc, Jehan Daruvala.

Best overtake:  Russell overtaking Verstappen again

Worst overtake:  Magnussen on Alonso. I initially thought it was entirely Kevin's fault but in the Haas thread someone claims it was more on Alonso but he deemed it a racing incident. I would need to look back at it in detail because my initial perception might have been wrong. In any case Kevin had great race pace early in the race on his mediums which is why I didn't mention him in the worst drivers section.
Best moment:  Watching Vettel drive in a Red Bull again

Worst moment:  - Leclerc retiring & - Red Bull using team orders to favour Verstappen over Perez
Best thing about the race:  The way both Alpine drivers drove from bad grid positions (Alonso even at the back) to good finishing positions provided entertainement
Worst thing about the race:   Leclerc retiring and losing an easy win (since Max had made a driver error and had an excursion in the gravle Leclerc wasn't under pressure anymore)

And the race in a sentence:  Please stop giving team orders Red Bull, I strongly dislike teams doing this unless if it's in one of the final races of the season.

Best driver: George Russell
Worst driver: Albon???? Was there a reason for this? Gasly?
Best team: Red Bull
Worst team: Williams
Best overtake: Alonso on Vettel
Worst overtake:
Best moment: The Russell on the podium
Worst moment: Leclerc's retirement
Best thing about the race: Russell/Verstappen battle
Worst thing about the race: Leclerc's retirement

And the race in a sentence: Some good moments and solid drives, but ultimately lacking.

You should know by now that if you finish behind Latifi, there is an explanation other than driving.

Best driver: Leclerc and Bottas
Worst driver: Maybe Ricciardo and KMAG. Honorable mention to Hamilton for wanting to give up in the 3rd fastest car, and the most cringe post race interview.
Best team: RedBull
Worst team: Williams
Best overtake: The re-over take from Russell on Verstappen
Worst overtake: Verstappen on Perez, KMAGs attempt on Hamilton
Best moment: Russell vs Verstappen
Worst moment: Sainz again dropping the ball
Best thing about the race: Verstappens championship lead
Worst thing about the race: The way this championship lead was achieved

And the race in a sentence: Will the WDC be a 3-way battle with a resurging mercedes?

Best pass by a country mile was Verstappens at turn 12. All the way around the outside. Was it on Bottas? My drunken memory isn't the best.

Gave it a 7: it was a really good race but owing to the way things shook out, the interest had mostly left by half distance or so. I've noticed that I haven't mentioned Perez, Russell or Bottas below who all put in brilliant drives, such was the quality of racing on Sunday.

Best driver: Lewis Hamilton
Worst driver: Carlos Sainz made a mistake that could have major ramifications -- this could've been his first Grand Prix victory
Best team: Mercedes looked like a credible challenger for maybe the first time this year
Worst team: Alpine have a fast car but one way or the other seem to be throwing points and good finishes away
Best moment: Hamilton's drive through the field to fourth
Worst moment: Leclerc's retirement from a big lead
Best thing about the race: Errors generated interest
Worst thing about the race: Lewis's puncture spoiled what would've been a fascinating battle behind Leclerc

And the race in a sentence: Verstappen recovers from an uncharacteristic error; Ferrari wobble; Mercedes building strength; roll on Monaco.

Best driver: Leclerc
Worst driver: Magnussen, honorable mention Sainz
Best team: Red Bull
Worst team: Williams
Best overtake: Verstappen on Bottas, Russell on Verstappen
Worst overtake: Magnussen on Hamilton
Best moment: I enjoyed Russell vs Verstappen, although in normal circumstances Verstappen would have disposed of Russell without any problem
Worst moment: Hamiltons suggestion to park the car after some bad luck
Best thing about the race: finally 3 competitive teams
Worst thing about the race: the moaning about the completely understandable switch between Verstappen and Perez

And the race in a sentence: Ferrari fast but unlucky, Red Bull fast and lucky, Mercedes back in the game

Enjoyed the race, 7,5 for me.

Best driver - Leclerc, he did everything right and lost the points through no fault of his own.

Worst driver - Zhou was over a second off Bottas wasn't he? And nowhere in the race, he's being shown up a bit at the moment.

Best team - Red Bull, by a distance.

Worst team - Probably Haas - both cars in Q3 then just going backwards in the race, though both drivers were poor.

Best overtake - Russell repassing Max

Worst overtake - Magnusson and Hamilton

Best moment - Sainz going off - can his season get any worse?

Worst moment - Leclerc's retirement - not his fault and bad for the championship battle.

Best thing about the race - seeing drivers actually making mistakes.

Worst thing about the race - The Red Bull 1-2 and Ferrari DNF - I fear Max will walk it from here.

The race in a sentence - felt rather like old-school F1 with mistakes, reliability problems and team orders. For two hours on Sunday afternoon it was 2001 again.

Best driver: Hamilton
Worst driver: Mags
Best team: Mercedes - great to see them competitive but RedBull as well for a great strategy
Worst team: Williams
Best overtake: Hamilton - on the outside
Worst overtake: Mags
Best moment: Verstappens DRS failure was intense - didn't like it but it made for a great race
Worst moment: Mags being to aggressive on the opening lap
Best thing about the race: So much here
Worst thing about the race: Mags

And the race in a sentence: This race had just about everything and still leaves us wondering who will be the best team

Best Barca race in years.

Best driver - Hamilton was great.

Worst driver - Don't know really

Best team - Red Bull, made all the big calls right

Worst team - Haas screwing up

Best overtake - Russell Max fight was good, although I found that Russel was crowing Max off.

Worst overtake - Magnusson

Best moment - Max his stint of the softs was very extreme

Worst moment - Max his DRS not opening, luckely it all worked out

Best thing about the race - Different strategies!

Worst thing about the race - TV director.

Scored it a solid 8. There was enough overtaking and drama to make it an entertaining race.

It was interesting to see the non DRS Russell/Verstappen battle which I feel added a extra element to the race. Didn't have a problem with Perez easily letting the Number 1 and WC driver past and feel that Russell is becoming a worthy opponent for Hamilton. I am also pleased to see Tsunoda improving and finishing ahead of his teammate again.

Overall an enjoyable race.

Best driver: From the drivers who finished the race, Lewis Hamilton for a highly impressive comeback drive (he had no help from a safety car or VSC either), although Leclerc didn't put a foot wrong and would probably have got my vote if he'd finished.

Worst driver: Alex Albon, he has looked comfortably the better Williams driver the season but was behind his team mate this time around, which is disappointing as Latifi has struggled so far.

Best team: Red Bull take this for claiming another victory and 1-2 finish, particularly as good pit work helped ensure Verstappen stayed ahead of Russell after his last stop.

Worst team: Haas seemed to have a decent car based on their qualifying performance but ultimately failed to finish close to the points, which was underwhelming. In Mick Schumacher's case this was partly down to strategy but I think this season could be like 2019 for the team, where they fell back as the year progressed.

Best overtake: George Russell successfully re-passing Verstappen, a great move in its own right but even more impressive considering the opponent and the context.

Worst overtake: Kevin Magnussen's botched attempt to pass Hamilton on the opening lap.

Best moment: Hamilton wasting virtually no time in overtaking Bottas - he had too much of a performance advantage for me to consider this the best overtake but it was good to see an overtake in a more unusual corner.
Worst moment: Charles Leclerc suddenly slowing down with his terminal engine problem, ending a very impressive drive up to that point.

Best thing about the race: Mercedes being more competitive with both drivers performing strongly, particularly with Russell looking so comfortable at the front of the pack.

Worst thing about the race: TV director made some odd calls as to what show and missed several overtakes - Russell passing Bottas for third was missed, whereas Vettel's pit stop was shown in full even though he wasn't on course for a top 10 finish, to name two that spring out.

And the race in a sentence: An unusually exciting race at the Circuit de Cataluyna with additional interest provided by the hot temperatures leading to high tyre wear rates.

I gave this race 8/10 as the new generation of cars seemed better suited to racing at this circuit and it was good to see Mercedes improve sufficiently to provide more competition near the front of the pack. It was also interesting to see leading drivers fall off the road, particularly as the gravel traps did somewhat punish their mistakes.

Best driver: Leclerc with an honorable mention to Lewis

Worst driver: Magnussen for hitting Lewis and then claiming that he was rammed intentionally  :rotfl:
Best team: Mercedes
Worst team: Williams? no idea really
Best overtake: Russel taking his place back from Verstappen
Worst overtake: Magnussen on Hamilton
Best moment: The George-Max battle
Worst moment: Leclerc engine failure
Best thing about the race: DRS
Worst thing about the race: Team orders

And the race in a sentence: Better than the usual Spanish grand prix, but still only a 6/10 from me
