I was a Schu fan in his day.

I'd trade his kid for Latifi right now.

At least with the $30million he brings Haas would be able to put a low DF wing on the car giving KMag a better shot.

This thread has turned into a bash fest of the Schumacher name, quite sad and revealing imo.

Aaaaand scene. This is what it’s about right here.

I'm sorry if this topic or my posts (I actually regret having caused this discussion should have kept my impulsive mouth shut) have hurt your feelings Scaboo22.

I know you're a fan of Mick and I have massive respect for your dedication as a fan and your love for the sport. Do know I had no intention to hurt your feelings or of others, I like the things you post as well.
I also sincerely hope that Mick can turn the tide at Haas this year. He is a nice kid and I feel bad for him having to grow up with his dad not in full heatlh. And I would be happy for you if he started performing, I really would. I'd like Mick to prove me  wrong.

Hulkenberg was never such an error-prone and inconsistent driver like Schumacher. He was the star, because he earned it.

F2 & Schumacher:

2019: 12th in the standings, one lucky win at Hungaroring due to reversed grid and only 53 points

2020: Only two wins in feature races, he had never scored pole position, he had slight advantage over second Ilott (19 points) and Tsunoda (20 points) - the latter one was a rookie. The field was rather weak (Mazepin 5th in the standings, Zhou 6th).

When you consider F1 performance, Mazepin and Zhou are just paydrivers. Tsunoda was terrible last year, but now is way better than Schumacher.

Exactly

And I was a fan of the Hulk.

Grosjean car wasn't legal for the first part of that GP2 fight, then Hulk started to come back at his in the standings.
But you need to have watched thoses seasons and to have talked to some people playing a role in it to get that.

Coming back at Mick, his run of luck wasn't always impressive, lost podiums and big points opportunities more than once by no fault of his own, in F2.
