I think he was rough around the edges and underperformed at times, but it's hard to impress casual viewers in a back-of-the-grid car.  Alonso barely impressed most in the Minardi in 2002, for example.

I know because he was a reserve driver for renault then :p

I hope Max is wearing his Prost nose today and think about just Leclerc and points   !

Don't think his helmet would fit.

New engine, turbo, MGU-H and MGU-K for Verstappen for the HungarianGP. No penalty. #AMuS

If anyone is making Goulash for the Formula Eats thread, let me know because man, that’s a tasty dish.

Just starting cooking it now, I am nothing if not predictable!

It’s crazy the amount Max has had to deal with this season yet still has a clear lead in the championship.

This is what happens when your opponent is driving for Ferrari.

I thought they would’ve saved these for Spa and Monza but I guess they think the added power might come in useful today when coming through the field.

Still think its odd you can change a PU under parc ferme conditions without starting from the back.

Same spec and haven't breeched the three component rule, so all fair.

I know that’s how it works, just think it’s an odd quirk in the rules that try to close down work done on the cars :)

Sure, move over George Russel because Lewis is right behind you .

Like Peter Windsor said, George would never ever do that if he has a chance for a win or still is in the championship himself .

IMO he would have taken points from Lewis but it could have been an eventful season.

Russell seems like a team player, like Hamilton.  If the team asked him to move over then I'm sure he would.  However, history suggests that Mercedes don't ask their drivers to do that until the maths are against them.

One of the few times I recall them even giving the car behind a chance was at Hungary I think.  And Hamilton gave back the place on the last lap as it hadn't worked.

You wonder how the can check everything is exactly the same, indeed.
