According to Italian sources Nicola Materazzi (83) - of Ferrari F40 fame - passed away last night.

It's always sad to hear when those involved in the golden days of racing and production cars pass away.
David Cironi did an interview with Ingegner Materazzi back in 2017, he was a proper and very gifted engineer.
The interview mostly covers his involvement with the Ferrari 288GTO, Evoluzione and the F40, gives a very good insight though.
