Lynton, I'm looking at you!

Seeking pictures of car 10B, the VW 1600 Notchback driven by Gary Campbell and Gerry Murphy. I already have the ones from Autopics.

I don't hold up much hope - with 60 cars in the race and 36 frames on a roll of film, who'd worry about that car?

In particular, I'm after pictures that show the signwriting clearly - if you know me, you'll be able to guess why.

Thanks all. As you were...

Bruce.  Gerard may have images?

Perhaps David Cutts knows if Gerard is still with us?

I'm fairly sure Steve Normoyle said that he bumped into Gerard at some lunch he was at 3 or so years back, maybe give Steve a message Bruce.

I've spoken to Steve, he's already given me what's in the Chevron archive - LJR pictures only, it seems.

Yes, I'll try Gerard. Last seen punting a Hire Car around the Eastern Suburbs.

Shots of the front of 10B are on pages 28 and 66 of the book "Hardie Ferodo 500 - 1969 - A Photographic History" by Stephen C. Stathis.

And here's why.

Some crooked ones.

A mate who's good at graphic design made the sticker files, which I edited (made smaller) in Microsoft Paint. Printed onto commercially-available decal sheet.

The model is a Dinky, 1:43 scale. This one I bought painted, I have another that's in undercoat right now.

Sorry Bruce....

I was away when you first posted this and today's the first time I've seen it.

I'd love to have helped but I wasn't at the race...

Nice looking job on the signage.
