Hi Everyone,

I’m off to Zandvoort this weekend, but hear that Holland currently has rail strikes….

Anyone have advice on getting to Zandvoort from Amsterdam airport?

Unions just announced there will be no strikes at the GP weekend. Tomorrow will be the last regional strike in the East and South of the Netherlands. Only other viable option would be by bus or taxi from Schiphol, but you should be alright. Hope you have a great weekend!

The Grand Prix is considered as a high profile event to the Dutch Railways. So they have increased the amount of trains per hour to Zandvoort, added extra length to them and offer, direct services from a dedicated platform at Amsterdam Central Station towards Zandvoort. So there wont be any stopping at Haarlem, for instance, with said service. From Zandvoort station it is about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the gates of the circuit.
