I hope nobody minds me posting this here. I am helping Motorsport UK to raise funds for an armoured ambulance that will be sent to Ukraine. Motorsport UK has chosen to feature the machine in which I am competing this season on the front page of its website. At the beginning of the season I had the car liveried in Ukraine’s national colours, because it’s a good way to help keep people focused on supporting Ukraine at this terrible time, and also because I am part-Ukrainian myself. The car is a 1967 1600cc Formula 2 Mallock 6b/8; one of the very last “Formula” cars (as in F1 , F2 and F3) to have the engine in front of the driver.
