Best driver: Perez
Worst driver: Latifi, of course
Best team: Ferrari.
Worst team: Alpine. At this point of the season they should have better reliability
Best overtake: -
Worst overtake: Russel on... whoever it was
Best moment: When they enabled DRS, at last
Worst moment: The first half was terrible
Best thing about the race: Perez proved to be a great driver
Worst thing about the race: They waited too long with DRS.

And the race in a sentence: If they penalize Perez away from the win, then FIA should have their balls severely kicked. They had an hour to investigate and who knows - maybe Sergio could have gapped Leclerc with 10 seconds if he knew he had to.

Kinda dull overall, despite some interesting bits when Vettel and Alonso kept Max behind them on pure skill & experience.

Latifi outdid himself in a display of idiocy that wrecked two other drivers’ races.

Russell did not cover himself in glory either.

Good start and drive to the win by Perez.

That wasn’t a race.  Couldn’t get offline to overtake, or you were straight into the runoff or barriers.

I think for a night race on this circuit, they need to dry the circuit before starting the race if the rain isn’t ongoing.

This was more boring than any race at Monaco that I can remember.

Best driver: Checo, flawless execution

Worst driver: Latifi, speechless
Best team:  McLaren, the only team that over-performed their potential
Worst team: Alpine
Best overtake: None, overtaking was not possible w/o a 2sec+ pace gap
Worst overtake: Russell on Mick
Best moment: the Alonso-Verstappen battle was engaging, then it ended too soon with the engine failure.
Worst moment:  every attempted overtake
Best thing about the race: it’s over now
Worst thing about the race:  any offline driving = crash

And the race in a sentence:

Worst race of the season so far.

Best driver: Perez

Worst driver: Latifi
Best team: Mclaren
Worst team: Mercedes
Best overtake: Verstappen on Tsunoda(?)
Worst overtake: Russell on Schumacher
Best moment: It ended
Worst moment: Having to wait for it to start
Best thing about the race: Some drivers attempting to add excitement by crashing
Worst thing about the race: Race control

And the race in a sentence:  Do we have a result yet?  Not a classic.

Best driver:  Sergio Perez

Honourable mentions:  Leclerc, Alonso, Stroll, Norris, Vettel  (and maybe Magnussen for his qualy bit certainly not for his race)

Worst driver:  Nicholas Latifi: squeezed Zhou against the wall
Best team: why not give this to McLaren for 4th & 5th
Worst team: Alpine: 2 broken engines
Best overtake: Max Verstappen on Pierre Gasly  (ironic)
Worst overtake:  Max Verstappen's failed overtake (on Vettel?) + Russell on Schumacher (what was George doing)
Best moment:  Perez scoring a well deserved win: on street tracks he is in a class of his own
Worst moment:  heartbreak for Alonso when his engine broke down
Best thing about the race:  I like an F1 race to be about reliability and beiing able to finish now and then but if two cars of the same team brake down with broken engines that's a bit sad for that time but a race of attrition is not bad for a change
Worst thing about the race:  it should not have been delayed because of the rain

And the race in a sentence:  FIA should do something about AlphaTauri's immediately moving over for a Red Bull, it's getting to a point where Red Bull deserves a fine. Gasly moving over for Max (twice even) was so blantant. It's a form of cheating by Red Bull, it's team orders to another team. Even if Red Bull also owns AlphaTauri, they should still act like an independent team.

While there wasn't too much overtaking in the race, I thought it was an entertaining and intriguing race to watch unfold. Really happy with McLaren's result, and I thought Sebastian and Fernando drove excellent defensive drives for large parts of the race.

I think F1 car regulations need to be looked at so that these cars can be driven in wetter conditions though.

They can be driven in wet weather conditions, they just don't want to anymore

...

Worst team: Mercedes...

I agree that Russell and Hamilton had a stinker of a race. But that's what we have the driver category for. I fail to see anything Mercedes did wrong. Russell going 'too soon' on slicks was the smart thing to do in the situation as he was way out of points anyway and they could use the info for Lewis later.

I think Verstappen cleared Magnussen and Bottas just as fast as Gasly, none of them were putting up a fight. Why would Gasly have to fight tooth and nail and all other lower midfield drivers can chose their battles?

Weird race where the worst driver was horrible (latifi) and the second worst also played bumperkarts (russel) and where hamilton and verstappen ended up not in top 10 best drivers of the day.

Crazy.

Best driver: Perez
Worst driver: George Russell come on down!
Best team: McLaren and Aston Martin maximised their results brilliantly.
Worst team: Alprine for reliability, Mercedes for driver implosions. Dear me.
Best overtake: Nothing is standing out..... probably a Verstappen I guess?
Worst overtake: Russell on Schumacher. How on earth was that no further action....
Best moment: Perez spreading his wings when he had to was impressive.
Worst moment: So many.
Best thing about the race: Tense. Love a tense race.
Worst thing about the race: Lack of passing was jarring at times despite the above.

And the race in a sentence: I hope we get a non street track wet race soon.

Best driver: Perez
Worst driver: Latifi (slow, crashed and took out other driver. Mercedes drivers came close though but atleast they were fast at times)
Best team: McLaren
Worst team: Alpine (Mercedes came close, but the dissapointing part today were drivers and not the team)
Best overtake: Max got few
Worst overtake: Russel on Mick
Best moment: Some close battles like Max and Alonso
Worst moment: After race investigation and not knowing the result
Best thing about the race: Lot of stuff going on
Worst thing about the race: Stupid crashes

And the race in a sentence: Bad track for racing, but atleast it is challenging to the drivers.

Best driver: Checo. Just when you thought his seat was in danger…
Worst (behaving) driver: Russel. Entitled whiner, often, this race absolutely.
Best team: McLaren.
Worst team: Haas - because of the drivers. There is speed in the car but the results…
Best overtake: Max on Norris, I think. The one where took that crazy other line?
Worst overtake: Lewis and Max’s brainfade.
Best moment: That it bloody started on the grid, not behind the safety-car
Worst moment: That I inadevertently tuned in right at the start… and realized I could have started watching much too late. Got the times mixed up!
Best thing about the race: Overtaking took skill and imagination.

And the race in a sentence: If you are not invested in a darling driver; a great race.

Another dull race, compounded by my recording effort being shyte and missing the end! No great loss. Urban tracks on city streets are invariably crappy.

Best driver: Perez
Worst driver: Latifi, Tsunoda, Russell, this list is long.
Best team: Mclaren for doing a number on Alpine considering they didn't look that competitive before Sunday.
Worst team: Alpine good grief.
Best overtake: Meh
Worst overtake: Russell on the Haas. Latifi on Zhou...again a very long list but these were the most egregious as they clattered into other drivers.
Best moment: Perez winning
Worst moment: Max off into the boonies on the SC restart.
Best thing about the race: The end?
Worst thing about the race: The beginning?

And the race in a sentence: That one went down like a cactus...

I accidentally gave this an 8 instead of a 6 due to brain fart. It was pretty average. The difficulty of overtaking, even allowing for DRS, was disappointing and the whole thing felt like like everyone was being quite cautious, as the commentators said at one point. Dunno. It was nice that Max didn’t just breeze through the middle of everyone today and to see something a bit different, but I struggle to see why some of the headlines are proclaiming it a “thriller”.

Best driver - Sergio Perez, really handled that perfectly especially when he had engine problems.
Worst driver - Latifi, qualified last, was slow and clumsily took another driver out. This race didn’t much to make me warm to George Russell either though. Both Merc drivers can whinge for England but George has this entitled streak a mile wide. I really want to like him more.
Best team - McLaren got everything pretty much spot on today, which was nice.
Worst team - Haas. How the hell did they managed to score nothing for a race where pretty much everybody finished in the points? Oh yeah, Kevin damaged his car at the start and Schumacher got tangled up and faded into nothingness, the usual.
Best overtake - a couple of Verstappen’s were pretty spectacular.
Worst overtake - Russell on Schumacher. See question (2)
Best moment - the start was quite exciting with the wet track, and Perez put in his best performance just when he needed it.
Worst moment - Leclerc starting to fade away from Sergio and the realization that there was to be no grandstand finish.
Best thing about the race - Max didn’t just cruise it.
Worst thing about the race - it threatened but never quite took off.

It was very weird race today with multiple drivers struggling to stay on the slowly drying track and plenty rookie mistakes too.

I really thought Leclerc would win after getting so close to Perez after safety car in the last 30 minutes of race, but Leclerc could not find a place to overtake Perez and Perez manage to pull 7 second gap over Leclerc race win.

The overtaking is really hard to do in Singapore track but fortunely not as hard as in Monaca where overtaking almost impossible.

Next week is gone exiting because the F1 will return to iconic Suzuka track after 3 year wait.

Are you serious? Max had much more issues and back fires from TR than he had benefits? Without Gashly issues yesterday, Max would be on pole. By a big margin.

Thankfully Verstappen (albeit with a big car advantage) was at least able to pass some cars...I'm pretty sure noohe else did

Looked great in 4k on the TV, great drive by Perez, but overall pretty dull

Not counting lap 1, you might be correct.

Best driver: Perez - great start (not often you can say that) and then no mistakes. Kudos also to the McLaren and Aston boys.
Worst driver: Latifi is too easy, so Tsunoda maybe, or Mags.
Best team: McLaren
Worst team: Several teams made errors over the weekend, so I pass.
Best overtake: Perez off the start, Stroll and Vettel too. In the race I credit Verstappen and Hamilton for good attempts.
Worst overtake: Russell on Schumie maybe.
Best moment: Russell switching to slicks (softs I think).
Worst moment: Alonso's DNF.
Best thing about the race: Aston Martin and McLaren both had good days.
Worst thing about the race: Waiting until after the race to determine if Perez had broken a rule/ $25K penalty for a nose ring ... is that correct???

And the race in a sentence: Plays like a Daniel Silva novel ... slow start, building to decent, somewhat exciting ending.
