We can blame the FIA all we want, but it was Gasly who went full throttle (said it himself) past a scene where a lap earlier he picked up that board. Forget the truck, Sainz his car was still there. The SC was out, so marshalls could have been on track recovering.

Attitude like this is why we can't have wet racing. Drivers take no responsibility.

I wouldn't mind a race ban for Gasly. He only cared to catch up to the SC as quickly as he could, forgot all safety of marshalls and Sainz and then got upset when HIS life got in danger.

Yeah that was extremely stupid. Also no tractors should be on track.

Just a Master of time before someone dies with this kinda stuff.

Title is misleading though. He reached 250KM/H after the scene of the accident.

Doesn't that make it even worse? "Oh there is people working on track. Let's go faster".

Here's some data, notice the minisector in which Sainz stopped and the preceeding ones.

It should have been redflagged immediately. RC are still a bunch of show for the money driven fools.

OP is too polemical for a scary incident, sorry.
