And within a lap he’ll be behind them both.Tsunoda has a gearbox penalty and Ocon will start from the pitlane after changing some engine parts.
This means Latifi has already made up two places!

Probably within the first corner

Probably within the first corner
well, that would need quite a rapid pit lane start from Ocon ;).
Normally penalties should still be applied based on the qualifying result, by the way, so Magnussen moves up to 13th, I think, while Alonso keeps 14th.

I guess we will see atleast 1 safety car today and maybe one virtual safety car too.
Sainz will have to drive really well to keep Max back in the race who will be the biggest favourite to win today, Hamilton,Russell will be the dark horse behind Sainz and Max.
Leclerc i dont see winning or getting podium today from 12 place without luck. Bottas should have decent chance score points from P7 if all goes as planned for him.

Doesn’t matter how Sainz drives, he doesn’t have the car / tyre life under him to do anything.

at Alfa there's still always a 50:50 chance to lose 10 positions at the start, though. Sometimes they get it right, more often not

If top teams starting on mediums, I think this race is really going to be won/loss for drivers who can make the hards work the best. I think with deg being high the hards be the key to a good race.
I think Redbull will win this as they seem the most complete on meds/hards.

Excuse my French, but **** painting old cars in new liveries. Absolutely hate it.
When are McLaren going to plaster MP4/4 in the new papaya orange, Google-clad livery? Oh, wait…they won’t. It’s only for certain cars.
It’s so annoying. Just like running old V10/V8s at promo events with current liveries on.

What chance a Verstappen win, but no champagne being sprayed on the podium out of respect for Dietrich Mateschitz?
Would be slightly awkward with the razzmatazz expected by an American audience.
Would be VERY suprised if this happens. Seems like spraying champagne is what would suit better. But we will see.

Brad Pitt being a knob. Lewis fist bumping all the grid kids. Lewis wins.

If any of the US celebrities knew that Brundle was a former F1 driver and teammate of Michael’s, I think they would be more respectful. One thing SKY/F1 could do a better job of is teaching a little history to the newer fans.

Slam dunk for George but what an odd line Carlos took - seemed to turn left when the corner flow was opposite.
