The 2022 Malaysian Grand Prix

Could be an historic one for Ducati, waiting for a WDC win since Casey Stoner (2007): also, an italian rider haven't won the tile with an italian bike since Giacomo Agostini (hell ye, long time ago).

Bagnaia has a 14 points lead advantage over Quartararo: but pressure got him in qualifying.

Could be yet another twist in this amazing championship, with Fabio Quartararo, Aleix Espargaro & Enea Bastianini managing to turn the championship fight in their favour.

MARTINATOR got Pole yesterday, with a stellar lap ahead of the BEAST, who's looking for a win to upset Bagnaia & come back into title contention.

A lot to play for, so..

No idea why Quartararo decided to stay with Yamaha.

Pretty hopeless vs Ducati so far.

Bagnaia is virtually 10x better than Aleix this race: 20 VS 2 points.

The rider probably won't listen but it's madness for Ducati to let Enea anywhere near Bagnaia.

Madness??

They have a superior bike.

Even a couple of #2 places from Bagnaia would do for the championship.

We should not accept inter-team orders. Bastianini should go for the win.

Ok, Pecco will be next champion. That Ducati is a monster, hopefully other teams can catch up next year

Looks like disagreement within Ducati ranks. This should not have been left to now to discuss it.

People really hate battles don't they?

If team orders were not enough in F1 now we have it here in MotoGp.

What a disgrace.

Strange!

Pretty clear what Bastianini is thinking. If he can induce Bagnaia to crash, he could be champion in Valencia.

Bagnaia did that by himself. Heroic start, withstood the pressure, great win.

Yamaha's best team day for a long while, 3rd, 10th and 12th (And Morbidelli could have been higher)

Enia would make a terrible team mate next year. How close was that and was that necessary? Geez

Bastianini didn't try hard enough to overtake.

Only clean overtakes was possible after all the team orders drama and pressure.

I certainly thought Bagnaia was better than what I am seeing.

Honestly think the Beast was planning to "do" Pecco into the last corner but made that mistake at T9...next year will be fireworks

Bagnaia had a stunning racestart, outbraking a lot of guys in T1.

Quartararo, a majestic race.

Everything can happen in Valencia!

And the Beast is always source of drama & entertainement

Fabio doing everything he could but that bike is just too fast. I'm shocked Miller recovered to 6th, he was 20th at one point.

It’s not that people hate battles but sometimes team orders are necessary given what’s at stake. It’s easy to scream let the battle when you’re a fan with no investment in the team but this would be Ducati’s first title in 15 years. Imagine what would happen if Pecco was taken out? At the end of the day everyone would remember who the 2022 champion is and not the team order.

Ducati is fast transforming into F1 RedBull racing where the factory team manager wants to tell the junior teams how they have to run their races.

Other than VR46...I wonder if any of the Ducati teams are fans of Ducati management (I have no issue btw). Enea had the pace to challenge here but may have been tentative and Zarco could have had his first win...
