Bastianini didn't try hard enough to overtake.

Only clean overtakes was possible after all the team orders drama and pressure.

I certainly thought Bagnaia was better than what I am seeing.

Bastianini went too hot into turn nine, and lost his chance at a win as a result. It doesn't look like you wish to give Bagnaia any credit regardless of circumstance, so I am not sure why I should take you seriously.

I’m not the worlds biggest Bagnaia fan, I think Fabio has been by far the better rider this season - but that was a good, strong ride from Pecco. Especially given that Bastianini doesn’t seem keen on taking any pressure off him. Fabio was stronger than expected, Pecco could easily have folded there but he didn’t.

Oh wow, manufacturers championship winner is Ducati (with 8 bikes). How can they let one brand have twice as much bikes in the grid

This was your comment in page 1:

"The rider probably won't listen but it's madness for Ducati to let Enea anywhere near Bagnaia."

You didn't want a fight and you would have been happy to celebrate a boring Bagnaia win.

If Bastianini didn't had the "clean pass" message to his ear and if he didn't fear for his future job(Factory Ducati rider), I am sure he would have made Bagnaia's race even harder. He definitely had the pace.

Enea's attitude has certainly gained him a lot of fans.

Well, beast was in front at some point, and he couldn't pull away.

He'll have plenty of chances to prove his worth again next season, i'm sure!

Pecco did everything right, rock solid after a difficult saturday.
His start was full commitment, 100% risk, and it paid off.

Quartararo too, had a stunning start.

A moment of silence for Aprilia, meanwhile

I enjoyed the fight, so you may need to revisit your priors.

The Constructors' was decided several races ago. And only the best scoring bike in each race scores points for its manufacturer.

The factory Ducati team took the Teams' title today. This ch'ship has teams scoring points with both their bikes the same way the riders do.

Enea has made me a huge fan this year. The guy just couldn't give a **** about the politics of the situation. Just goes for it every time. I'm confident he'll get the better of Pecco next year on the factory bike.

What a bunch of p*****s.
He won at at end so no need for all the drama of team orders.

I dunno, think of the trail of ‘great’ riders on that Ducati who haven’t got it over the line and won the championship, it goes all the way back to Stoner doesn’t it? And for about 5 years now there’s been the feeling that it might be the best bike on the grid.

If you do the arithmetic of what the championship looks like if Ennea and Pecco crash today, Fabio leads into the last race.

I’m glad to see them racing but I completely understand the panic on the pit wall.

I noticed about halfway through the race that he started losing less time to the Ducati's on the straights. In the first half he was losing about 3/4 tenths. Then in the second half he was only losing about 1/2 tenths. Was quite strange.

I think I agree. I think the only area where he maybe lacks compared to Pecco is over a single flying lap and even there he’s made giant strides this season. Today Pecco was better, fair and square though. He started behind Enea and finished ahead. But seeing Enea doing this on a year old, second tier satellite bike is remarkable. I think he’ll prove better than Bagnaia next year, I love it when riders just kinda come from nowhere like he has. I know he won Moto2 and was quietly impressing at the back end of his Avintia season but I really didn’t see a performance like 2022 coming from him at all. He’s fantastic.

I think it was fair for him to have to a go today - he was still within a mathematical title chance if Bagnaia dropped it. But now that he's out of contention, the Ducati order should take precedence.

And what would that be? Bastianini to let Bagnaia past to 13th place?

Enea strikes me as the type of guy that would go for it even if he wasn't in with a shot of the title. And to be honest I quite like that about him. No messing about. Just a pure racer. Is it good for Ducati? No. Do I blame Ducati for wanting him to stay behind? Not at all. But I'm here to watch racing. Not politics.

I don't think anyone did. He has been improving slowly but steadily ever since he came into MotoGP. Even when he was quick earlier in the season people were pointing out that he was quite inconsistent but in the second half of the season he has improved on that as well.
