Why can't they have VSC? Either it's green flag or SC, nothing between.

Is this really FRECA? I see some genuine overtaking.

I miss Hockenheim. I'd rather have a weekend of F1 at Hockneheim than Austin.

SC breeds SCs. VSC would not.

Oh, so Adam Fitzgerald is racing again this weekend, in the USF2000.
I think he's testing, the season already ended last month.

Yup. They're having a collective test at IMS: fall-combine-entry-list--1.pdf (usf2000.com)

How can you expect the drivers to abide by track limits in F2/F1/FIA WEC et al. when they're allowed to shove each other off the track like that in FRECA?

I only caught the end of the race, but it was pretty exciting for a FRECA race! Shame about the flagrant track limits abuse, though. I agree with you FLB - they're gaining bad habits at this level which they carry up the ladder.

Sternshorne was barely on the track (if at all) after he shoved Camera off going for P2.
Like said above track limits is a joke in FRECA and it leads the drivers onwards up the ladder

I don't know if the drivers are picking up bad habits that they then bring up the ladder, or if they are simply emulating what they see in F1/F2/F3, especially when that same behaviour isn't penalised. It's probably a nuanced combination of the two.

Camara seems to have lost his pace here. Antonelli or Fluxa will need to make more moves to secure this for Prema.

Great final lap move by Antonelli Secures Prema the team title.

In terms of the quality of the drivers, I think this has been an especially strong field. Antonelli, Stenshorne, Tramnitz and Camara all have a lot of promise. The points standings may not suggest it, but I think Weug has also shown well, considering she is in a backmarker team.

He might have finished down in 6th, but I was impressed by his controlled passing in the recovery drive by Antonelli, that's the sort of thing he needed to practice I think (as he was so used to being in the lead from the front) so it's worked out well

Yep, caught up with the race now too. Great move by Antonelli on the last lap to ensure the teams' championship went to Prema. Still very impressed with Stenshorne as well this year, I think he has a bright future ahead of him. There are rumours that Alpine are sniffing around and adding him to their junior team, which would be a great move on Alpine's part.
Slightly disappointed with the driving standards in that race, as there were a lot of unnecessary incidents down at the hairpin. It definitely had a last day of term feeling to it!

I think the points do tell the story for Weug - the fact that no-one else in that team has scored any points at all in the last two season, and she scored 27, shows that I think she was outperforming the level of the car. I really hope she does end up in a better FRECA team next year instead of going to F1 Academy, I really think that'll be a waste for her.
I have seen further rumours elsewhere that Antonelli won't be the only one possibly heading straight up into Formula 2 next year, and that his team-mate is also trying to find a seat in F2. And when I say team-mate, I don't mean Câmara... considering Fluxá has had 2 podium finishes in three full years of FRECA - two of which have been spent at R-ace and Prema - he would be utterly out of his depth in Formula 2. Still, the family billions do the talking.

Agreed, F1 Academy would be a step down for Weug at this stage (it's a shame the series wasn't around two or three years ago, as it'd have been perfect for her at that point). I'd love to see Ferrari put her in a Prema in FRECA and see what she can do. If she could get a top 5 in the championship, I think she'd have proven herself worthy of a decent F3 seat.
