Mary tell Jane she is pregnant.
Jane tell Betsy Mary is pregnant.
It is not Jane's place to tell anyone Mary is pregnant, the only one who can say Mary is pregnant is Mary.

I think Sargeant certainly did his case a world of good this morning. To be only 9 hundredths off Albon at a track he'd never raced at before was a good job - and I think he knew it, judging by his smile in the press pen. Hopefully he can convert it into a solid race finish and Vowles will announce his extension at Austin.
Albon has never raced here, either, but I agree it was solid.

When drivers don't speak we say they are PR robots, when drivers speak we say they speak about the wrong things and should shut up.
It must be exhausting being a public person.
The point is that they should be PR robots. But, more importantly, they should not drop their friends in the sh**. Up until he spoke those words, all the press had were strong rumours and indications. Now they have much more evidence, they will pester everyone. Moreover, it makes life more difficult for those involved in negotiating any deals.

F1 desperately wants an American driver, I mean 2 races there, teams from there wanting to enter left and right, owner Americans, injecting a lot of money into Mclaren, etc. As long as Sergeant stop crashing and does at least descent he is likely secured.
3 races there, and one team wanting to join.

Williams have also apparently confirmed Logan is still on an older aero spec.

Interesting news for next year, from Duchessa twitter.
Interesting to note that from January 1st it will finally be possible to use the 2022 cars to train drivers or remain familiar with the procedures. The use of cars similar to the current ones is decidedly more attractive and therefore increases attention. A new feature is that all competitors will have to be informed about the characteristics of the test, the purpose, who will drive and where (in addition to the FIA). #Formu1a #F1
This means that starting next years, guys like Lawson and Drugovich will be able to pound around in 2022 spec cars on any race track in the world for as many laps as the team is willing to give them.

I think you do not understand my point, which is Norris may or may not go to Red Bull, it is not Albon's place to say either or.
I do understand. Albon can say whatever the bloody hell he likes, and by the sounds of it, it's even more well known inside the paddock than what it has been on the boards the last few months. Lando pretty much has an open ticket to any team and RB are the ones most struggling with one of theirs.
You're making a big deal out of nothing.

According to Ziggo pundits, Mick is on pole position to take over the seat from Sargeant next season.
I thought Vowles had rejected him?
But I guess with Sargeant continuing to underperformed and Lawson off the table - as well as Toto probably pushing for him pretty hard - he has become the best option?

Are Ziggo very accurate on these things?
With anything German-related AMuS are usually first and best informed.

Wasn't williams complaining about how they invested so much money and can't afford devaluation? It seems like they should stay away from crash prone rookies.

Yup. That's probably the sort of thing that comes up in meetings, much like 'Change your effing car' from Christian Horner to Toto Wolff.
'Why do you keep a driver who crashed X times if your finances are so bad?'

He has probably been the best option from the beginning. I think his reputation is undeservingly low after beating Magnussen 10-6 in 2 car finishes last year.
Williams' options on the driver market are surprisingly dire for a team that's probably going to finish 7th best this year.

Would be a shame for Mick Schumacher to have another go after getting plenty already over Drugo, I thought Williams were more inclined to go with Drugovitch. Liam Lawson doesn´t seem that hot either..

I’m sorry, I really like Sergeant but I think he’s adding zero excitement to the idea of: yeah, we have an American on the grid. He does not have the performance that evokes that, nor the Ricciardo-drive-to-survive personality for that. Not his fault, but an American F1 driver needs one of the two…

I'm hoping Ugo Ugochukwu can properly fly the flag for America in the future. Him and Kimi Antonelli fighting for the title in 2030 at McLaren and Mercedes respectively would be awesome.

If we're talking marketing the problem for American drivers is they have to develop their driving career in Europe, so when they arrive in F1 they don't really have a strong 'American profile'. If you want that American $$ you really need a driver who has developed in America and then move to F1 at the very last minute. Very very unlikely, but in terms of the 'need an American driver' what is really needed is a driver recognisable to America before they get to F1. i.e IndyCar to F1 type thing.

I would venture to suggest that Americans are often disclaiming of young Americans who go to Europe - it's viewed as a snobbery. They are also not used to their young drivers having to go away to develop. For Australians, meanwhile, the only shocking thing about Piastri moving to Europe was how young he was when he did it - but we are extremely used to it, whether to F1 like Mark, Daniel and Oscar, or to Indycar like Will Power.
Logan has been in Europe since he was twelve, and he seems rather shy and quiet (no wonder he and Oscar get along so well). It's no surprise he doesn't have much of a profile in his home country.
I still think he deserves a second year.

Jane tell Betsy Mary is pregnant.
It is not Jane's place to tell anyone Mary is pregnant, the only one who can say Mary is pregnant is Mary.
And yet you've just told the whole damned forum that Mary is pregnant, nice one, she was going to wait and tell everyone soon......

Feeling terribly sorry for Sargeant today, he was having quite a good race, and then became ill in the car. You could hear in his voice how much he wanted to continue and get his clean result in. A good call by Vowles to retire him and reassure him that their chief concern was his health.

When's Danny due back in the AT? I thought it was here, but it hasn't happened yet. Surely they will want more data prior to 2024 to go for such a big step?

I think RB will let Perez finish out the year, but only because there's no risk of losing constructor's and Danny lost so many races.

You have absolutely no idea what he's thinking. He's worth tens of millions and I believe just had his 4th child? A retirement may not be as off the cards as you think.

It’s such a dramatic collapse that I’m beginning to think something will happen here. It has to. He’s not regaining his form here, it’s just got steadily worse for most of this season. It feels almost like when Valentino Rossi fell off a cliff in 2020/21. That bad.
