I am trying to trace back the history of a heavily modified Lotus 23. The car was imported to Switzerland in February 1971 and did some hill climbing in the Swiss championship: it had been equipped in Switzerland with a 1300 BDA engine and a FT200 gearbox. See below a picture of the car where the modified bodywork and the special rims can be seen.

Now I read a sales offer in the Autosport issue from 7 January 1971 in which the Lotus 47 rims are mentioned. After some internet research, I found one single race entry by Trevor Hamblen at Silverstone in 1970.

Could the car from my picture and the car mentioned in the sales offer be the same car? Does somebody remember a Lotus 23 with 47-style rims or have a picture of such a car? Does anybody know if Trevor Hamblen is still with us?

There appears to be a problem with the pictures (for me at least). Dropbox says the images cannot be viewed because I am offline, but I know I am not.
If this can be fixed I hope you will get more responses from the good people of TNF.
