Is this Stapleford Hill Climb, known to be flat? I suspect this is 1955?
Possibly West Essex C.C., 16 October 1955? Does anybody have programme, report, results?

Almost on the eve of the Motor Show, the West Essex Car Club promoted a second climb on their airfield 'hill' at Stapleford Tawney. Fastest Time of Day, and a course record which stood for several years, was to the credit of Paul Emery, more usually seen on the circuits than in hill-climbing. With the exception of Rivers Fletcher and Don Parker (the latter was beaten for 500 cc class honours by Mark Lund), the regular hill-climbing drivers were missing from the entry list, support coming rather from those more frequently seen in club circuit racing.
