Thanks for posting these, Bob.
Is this the Mk IV ?
I understood that to be Stan's last car, in which he had his accident, (Seattle was it?), but I don't recall ever seeing pictures of it before.
The first pic appears to be at Laguna Seca, so I'm guessing that's either not a CanAm race, a testing shot, or not the Mk IV.
Did he get to race the Mk IV before it was wrecked?
My knowledge of Mr Burnett is too sketchy to be sure of any of this!

It is the Mk IV.
He practiced with the car at Donnybrooke and Riverside but never was in an actual race.
I saw it at Donnybrooke.
I remember from reading in Autoweek 53 years ago, his crash was due to a problem similar to that Bruce McLaren had.
There was a picture of his new car early in 1970 in Autoweek but sadly I do not have my Autoweeks any more and had been looking for a good picture of his last car for a long, long time.
Back when racing was still a non-spec. buy a ride sport, I was always interested in the cars and drivers who for whom it was a expensive hobby possibly with a monetary prize.
I would say his best career result was finishing Second in the 1969 Road Race of Champions at Riverside to Hansen but ahead of some very talented drivers in his own Mk III.
