Sad to hear Dave Price is dead at 75.

Played a major role in the careers of many drivers in F3/F2/GP2 and plenty of time in sportscars too.

I was very, very sad to hear this this morning. I had a brief chat with him at our Grand Prix Trust get together at Silverstone last May. He was fine then and very much still 'on it' in regard current racing and drivers. He'll be very much missed.

I used to be his friend on Facebook, but he didn't use it much. As far as I know, it was a heart problem. His teams were always good ones and he had a lot of stories to tell.

I understood from a friend that Dave was very upset when Johnny Dumfries died. I sent a lovely photo I took of them together in Macau and he was so pleased to have it.

Another good man checks out - condolences to his family and friends.
