Best Overtake: Not sure, want to say Magnussen of Tsunoda, but feel I would lose credibilty having him as best in most questions - Did Stroll make it around the outside? If he did then that one. 
Best Moment: Magnussen overtaking Tsunoda
What It Was Missing: Actual racing rather than DRS move after DRS move
Three Words to Describe the Race: As middle of the scale as can be

Best Driver: Piastri - impressive qualifying and race, unfortunate to have that early contact
Best Team: Red Bull, even with the reliability issues
Best Overtake: Hamilton on Sainz, with honorable mentions to Stroll on Sainz and Magnussen on Tsunoda
Best Moment: for me, Hamilton on Sainz; for a neutral, there wasn't much I guess? Alonso grabbing first off the start?
What It Was Missing: tyre deg

3. There really wasn't much redeeming about it. No incident or intrigue, easy DRS passes, and lots of FIA cock ups. 

 

The best part of the race was the hilarious rendition of the Saudi National Anthem. And those people are probably in Deera Square today.

Best Driver: I think Max, despite his car advantage, did a good job to get to 2nd. Perez controlled it well, Alonso doing well in the AM. To be honest, I don't think there were any stand-outs. Piastri did a decent job this weekend.

Best Overtake: I was most excited at the Alonso overtake at the start.
Best Moment: As above
What It Was Missing: Proper overtakes. Please, for the love of God, reduce DRS.

Best driver - Max Verstappen, I guess. Although it’s much easier when your car’s that damn quick.
Best team - Red Bull, for coming up with a car that damn quick.
Best overtake - Stroll on Sainz, nice to see him do something like that because I think he’s got a bit of a bad rep about his racecraft lately but he’s been capable of extremely brave and impressive first corner/lap moves like that from the start of his career.
Best moment - Alonso taking the lead
What it was missing - competition up front.
Three words to describe the race - Red Bull Wins.

I think I gave it a six which looking at the votes is at the upper end, but it had Alonso leading, two of the faster guys coming through from the middle of the pack, some decent racing through the field and it wasn’t horrid. In fact I worry we might look back on it as one of the better ones because we’re going to have to get used to a LOT of Max cruises from pole position in 2023.

From Hero to Zero:

Victor Martins scoring a fabulous pole position, on Saturday he climbed from 10th to 2nd in the sprint race but on Sunday he went from hero to zero by binning his car

Best Driver: A lot of people had good drives. Nothing Standout. Perez was great. Alonso was great. Verstappen was great.

Best Overtake:  Stroll on Sainz around the outside in T13 on lap 1. My goodness. 
Best Moment:  Alonso podium
What It Was Missing:  Alonso win. 
Three Words to Describe the Race:  I am content.

I was feeling generous so I gave it a 5. As these things go it was rather dull but there were a few good moments.

WIWM: any other team approaching Red Bull speed

What It Was Missing: suspense. Everyone was driving to a delta with quite stable gaps to each other. The turbulence from the cars between the walls made close following near impossible.
