Did we have a decision on the investigations? Evans and Da Costa under investigation weren’t they?
Wehrlein too, all for passing under yellow flags...

Is Evans out of energy?

There’s no reason to be, the race allocation is artificially and there’s no advantage to short-charge themIs Evans out of energy?

Do Evans and Cassidy need to provide a sample of battery juice to the stewards after the race?

Fun race Some clumsiness early on - Nato and Ticktum especially - but some good action throughout the pack.

Dennis is understandably quite angry at Ticktum.

Ticktum says it simply didn't stop when he braked and that he's never experienced anything like it in his career before.

Was so intense i didn't had time to write!
Another classic, in my books.
It was like a lot of different races inside on race, it swinged back & forth, and the strategic element was fascinating to me.
First half was unlike anything we've seen in Formula E so far, making this race and this track even more unique.
And that final lap 3 way battle, man, was tense.
Winner was uncertain till the last 50 meters.
Way to go Gen 3!
So far, not a dull moment this season.
Happy for Mitch & Jaguar!
Obrigado Sao Paulo!
Big crowd too, another success for the serie, after Cape Town & Hyderabad's sold-outs.
Hoping that Brazil will stay on the calendar for long!

Piquet Jr:
‘We’ve heard his excuses… but… ‘
Didn't see his analysis but I agree, you can't go where no car has gone all weekend and be surprised there's little grip.

Extended his lead over Dennis by 6 points, in part thanks to Ticktum
Now 86 to 62

How high were your BPM's during the first half of the race Nigel?
Agree, Vergne & Vandoorne were very intelligent in such a chaotic & intense race!
Could have been much worse in such an hectic scenario, collecting big points in races like this is crucial!
Quality weekend for DS Penske.
TOP 10 standings in the drivers championship
Pretty much wide open!
I wouldn't even rule out Evans who scored less than 30 points, but we know his speed and the championship is still long.

Tell you what, Cassidy has vaulted into Title-Watch position they’re just behind Dennis. Smart enough to know when not to throw away a sure fire P2 and look where it’s getting him.
Consistently getting podiums will get you into title contention

Porsche still the best car but slowly coming back to the pack as Formula E keeps going full Indycar during the races.

I still can’t believe they actually pulled off a race in Battersea Park
It was bloody terrible as a spectator (in a grand stand) I could see precisely 0 sqm of track, and about 50m of the tops of cars above the barriers.

Barclay goes barmy
Someone needs to tell him to keep his hands above the table. when they cut to him late in the race it looked like he was knocking one out

I had a grandstand spot at the T4-5 chicane which wasn’t completely terrible. It was bloody terrible as a spectator (in a grand stand) I could see precisely 0 sqm of track, and about 50m of the tops of cars above the barriers.
But in general, yeah, far from the best.

Who could blame him, Jaguar powertrains were just about to score a 1-2-3.Someone needs to tell him to keep his hands above the table. when they cut to him late in the race it looked like he was knocking one out
Seriously though, i'm happy for them all coming good on their earlier potential and particularly after Hydrerabad.

So an average race speed of 118.3 km/h on the timing sheets for this one. If you remove the safety cars and only look at green flag laps, seems as though they were running at 138-139 km/h, which would likely have been enough to set a new FE race record ahead of the previous fastest (Cape Town) at 132.2 km/h.
Distance ended up being 105.3 km with the added laps. That makes it the second longest distance covered by an FE race, after Mexico City earlier this year (107.7 km) and just ahead of Berlin from the third season (104.7 km).

I do agree Sunday would be better, Saturday doesn't particularly suit me either and i end up watching the race on delay later in the evening. I guess the reason they don't do Sundays is so they can pack up the infrastructure on a Sunday and return the roads to normal in time for the Monday?Missed it. Saturday evening is the worst possible slot for a race IMO.
PS. If you're in the UK (or have a VPN) you can get the full race on Channel4 Sport Youtube.

Hopefully the experience for the teams in Sao Paolo was good, as it was the third debut race in a row that, as a fan, seemed like a pretty good success. A good track for a motor race, even if the layout was not biggest challenge for the drivers.
