The obituaries about the late Richard Lloyd that appeared at the time of his plane accident never mentioned where he was born, only saying he was British. In my notes I have Northern Ireland but the only web source I can find confirming it is Driver's Database - saying his birthplace is Belfast -  but some of their info is not totally reliable. Does anyone know for sure?

To be fair to DriverDB it does not give birth places but hometowns.

True. Having said that nothing points out for Lloyd to live in Belfast, at least during his racing years

According to Mike Kettlewell's Motor Racing Directory (1979) it gives DoB as 18 Feb 1945 in Belfast and his current address as 14 Lonsdale Road, Barnes, London SW13.
