Can confirm that the developers have indeed made a fix. Images are displaying for me now as well (as are various other things like the Delete button that used to be broken on desktop).

Thanks so much for all your patience with this -- the wait wasn't ideal but from what I've seen and heard it wasn't because of apathy on anyone's part. Special thanks to Primo for the workaround he dug out for us in the meantime.
