Just picked up on French news reports that George Fouche, 13 time competitor at Le Mans between 1984 (when he was only 19 years old) and 1997, has died. Away from South Africa, he raced mainly in World Endurance Championship and Japanese Group C events. Apparently he suffered a bad fall in February from which he did not recover. He was 57 years old when he died.

RIP George, he tested for Eddie Jordan in 1993.
