There is a lot of very good drivers on the grid through all the classes.

In the UK, the race is live on Eurosport 2 (none of the chanel hopping nonsense), as well as on Discovery+ (if I'm right, if you pick the correct stream, you get it fully uninterrupted, no adverts).
All sessions on Eurosport 2 except the first practice session (due to tennis and cycling), though the first session I believe is on Discovery+
Radio Le Mans of course have live commentary of all sessions and obviously the race (with the VERY handy Studiovision Youtube stream being in use again, which is what's needed for synching up audio and pictures)
Weather forecast is currently for bone dry conditions for all sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, with a few sites suggesting there's a reasonable risk of rain at times during the 24 hours of racing. Like all forecasts though, it's a few days away, but the signal has been the same for a while now, but obviously no guarantee of rain, but right now it wouldn't be the biggest shock if it did rain at some point

Here's what was happening the last time I visited LeMans.
No wait, that's not true...We took a camping holiday in France back in 89 I think it was?....
I asked my wife to navagate, as she has unconquerable control issues, and to my absolute delight she threw down the map 10 minutes outside of Boulogne-sur-Mer and said...
YOU figure it out !!
So off to LeMans I drove with our young son in the back seat.
Not untill I parked the car did she dot cotton on to what I was doing when I strolled the two of them up into the old grandstands.
THAT was the last time I was at Le Mans
Jp
EDIT:
Hey Victor … what you up to?

KWSN and I were there in 1988. Took train down to Paris. Went to the train station's Hotel info and asked them to book us a room. The nice lady pointed to a sign with 1 to 6 stars and asked what level we were looking for. Feeling flush we decided on 2 stars. She shrugged, gave us the reservation and off we went to find it. It was one of those converted private homes with card board walls between rooms. There was a shower, but only cold water. During the night, it was obvious that one could also rent rooms by the hour..... Now, what I have always been curious about is; what would a 1-star room have been like.....
So, took train down to Le Mans and not knowing our way around we ended up walking from station to track camp site. With detours around 10km walk with baggage including tent. And it was HOT. Believe we landed on Thursday afternoon. British had come down in droves for Jaguar and had been camping out for a day or two. There were sizeable stacks of empty beer cans in front of all their tents. At that point in time the loos were of the 'rudimentary' kind. And not many of them at the camping site. You only went there when necessary.
Same evening we walked around and saw a lot of hooning (there was a bar up to an infield road, where a mass of people had gathered. And they wouldn't let any car through unless the car made a burn-out. Lots of tire smoke, applause and generally just a good vibe. These were the days of the worst football hooliganism and being with motor sport enthusiast was a completely different experience. Everybody were in good mood and even if there was tribalism between the Porsche and Jaguar fans it was all good natured.
I have earlier shown some of the pictures we took in the paddock and will just say that on Sunday afternoon we ended up on top of the Marchal sign (not sure it was Marchal in 1988 but it was at that spot) to watch the Jaguars triumph and the 35.000 brits going nuts.
Oh, one more thing. During the night in the race we went to see the circus or whatever you call the entertainment place outside the Dunlop bridge area. And my abiding memory is a caller (that guy in front of the tent trying to lure people in) showing a pair of absolutely enourmous panties promising that for just 5 francs we could get in and see the worlds fattest lady in person. Alas, we didn't since we were on a budget....

I was there the year before and saw the same attraction.
The three numbers of her vital statistics all started with a 2, followed by 2 more numbers.
We went in because we didn't believe this could be true and wanted to see how it looked if it was true or otherwise how you were fooled.
And I can't reproduce the comment I heard one Englishman say to his buddy who were standing just ahead of us. Buyt my friends and I couldn't help laughing.
Nowadays you only have to watch TLC "my 600 lbs life" to get an idea as of what was then still a rarity.

Did we not take the Ferris Wheel as well?
Was that the year when a beautiful Lancia were completely wrecked the next morning?

For those in the UK the BBC has this excellent Le Mans documentary from 1982. There's a short section in it showing the on circuit night time entertainment for spectators, which includes a German beer hall and from memory also has the caller and the tent mentioned above

Yes, we rode the Ferris wheel
Don't have a specific recollection of the Lancia

I don’t know what Lopez is alluding to when he says that the top speed of Ferrari is strange, apparently the good results obtained through hard work are strange.
I would wait before saying that Ferrari is fastest.

Toyota # is the Kobayashi, Lopez, Conway car.

Bought the official Le Mans TV, after taking my money I can not watch it for legal reasons in my country... They could have said that when I told I am in the US before I press pay, at least I have the timing in a solid easy and detailed display, including sectors, hopefully that is how they will show during race as well.

I propose we start a "Peugeot watch", to count how many issues each car has over the next few days. 93 is already on the board, being up on high-jacks in the garage before the first practice session has even completed an hour.
But in better news, they are second and third fastest at the moment...

3.28 is not surprising to me. Plenty of lap time yet to come.

Oof. D'Station Aston big hit in the barriers before Tertre Rouge, then an LMP2 car collected it, completely ignoring the waved yellows...
The Aston will need a spare car by the looks of it.

Do they have a spare? Or will we see the Montoya's get a chance now?

Working or at least pretending to, which LMP2 was that? Looks like something a hefty penalty should be handed out for.

Stupid question: Why a single yellow flag and not double yellow flags?

I like the way the Cadillac leaves the pitlane. It first goes on electric, then switched to petrol as if to say "Look at me, I'm electric!.....Just kidding" . What a noise.

Close in times, with nine of the Hypercars covered by less than a second - and a Penske Porsche, Cadillac, and Ferrari outside of which that will presumably get closer to the ultimate pace too. Set up nicely.
Toyota 1-2, which isn't a surprise, but I do have to say the Porsches look quite ominous.
And Peugeot surprisingly rapid...when they're actually working.
Still anyone's race, this.

Do you have a VPN? Can bypass this with a foreign IP address.

Nice to see both of the lovely Glicks under 3:30 and the whole hypercar field fairly close together, minus Floyd Vanwall. The NASCAR is just a little bit off LMP2 times now and has quite a big gap to the best GT cars, pretty crazy.

I know but not really legal to do (I think), so not something I do.
With my stated stance on morals and ethics I betray myself if I break the law when it suits be, and feign outrage when it does not, I am NOT saying this as a moral statement or view of anyone here, just what I have decided to do for myself.

VPNs are legal and this is a perfectly acceptable use case. To me, the unethical thing was the service taking your money without making it clear that there is a georestriction in place for watching the feed using a US IP address.
