The camping was much better than when I was there for the first time, I almost wasn't disgusted by anything (except that dodgy sandwich in the Spanish food stand).
Was that behind the paddock? I think I passed by that stand a couple of times, but never stopped to get anything from there...

Some saying they dipped in and out of coverage with not much football on UK tv, others saying they got really into it and want to host a watch party next year.
Even just coffee machine comments on recognising the winner. Don’t underestimate the might and allure of Ferrari I guess.

I’m shocked at how many friends and colleagues are talking about LM24.

I've said it before over here but I'll repeat it
I honestly think that this victory of Ferrari at Le Mans is the racing result that generates the largest impact worldwide this calender year.
Only a 8th WDC of Lewis might have matched it.
But for many a reasons, Endurance racing probably got the best of al results at Le Mans possible to create headlines and making impact.

Interesting. No reports at the time, so where on the track did that occur?

It seems like that first SC lenght might've not been fully caused by the crash, repairs and New SC procedures but also some people tried a Silverstone 2022 stunt according to some people close to ACO.
With the current political climate in France (EELV...), I'm not surprised.

The first thing I thought when the tickets were sold out is that they were limiting the number of spectators for security issues. They wouldn't have shown anybody nor talked about it not to give any ideas to anybody else.
There is a strong anti-automobile sentiment in some circles in France. Carlos Tavares has spoken about it.

What is a Silverstone 2022 stunt?

I would be tempted to say it would've had to happen in the straight after Arnage or middle in Mulsanne straight.
Otherwise spectators would've catch it on smartphones.
Also it would've been way safer for them because otherwise they would've been in big big troubles with other racefans.
There is a group called Stop24h which sabotaged several tramways in Le Mans and degraded other staff.

How dodgy was that sandwich lol
The cheese was really weird, supposedly Manchego cheese, but I've eaten it in the past and it didn't taste like this one

Yeah that's the one. I think the best food I tried was close to the tunnel between the village and museum entrance on the village side.

So called environmentalists sitting on a live race track.

Finally getting around to watching the 2023 Le Mans and what really annoys the bejesus out of me is that the commentators do NOT know how to pronounce Porsche.
The only one that gets it correct is the American commentator - although he has no idea how to pronounce Peugeot.
