Moved into "Special Projects", ie: he'll have left the company by August.

Huh. Maybe there's hope for the team yet. I expected Rossi to run it into the ground.

Most likely not related to F1 but more in the aim to beef up the roadcar bit.

They need to speed up the release of EV cars in order to kick start the cash machine.

Famin will take care of the racing bit.

I called him out on this board after drive to survive two years ago. Clear as day he was way out of his depth.

He took a hell of a public beating on Sky with his off colour comments about the team when they were not performing so well. Not sure if it was similar in other countries.

Just Szafnauer left to be given an Australian booting and I can start to like the team again.

**** yeah! It was only a matter of time.

Worst, hollow leadership I have seen in a while, only surpassed by some things the FIA have done in recent years.

Remember this gem ?

Moved into "Special Projects"...

Leveraging the optimisation of tea-serving strategies.

Also, thank the Racing Gods that this is happening before Alpine go full-on in WEC.

Why do you want them to leave f1?

No, not at all. Just saying that they need someone at the top with competence and patience as going into WEC is intense due to the high level of competition and I do not think Rossi understands some basic leadership concepts to help Alpine commit to that project.

What a strange dude Laurent is. I can only think of corruption that people like that can ever get to be in the roles of CEO for big companies.

That's going to be Bruno Famin, ex-Peugeot (908).

Yeah but Famin had to report to Rossi somehow eventually right ? This can only be good for F1, WEC and everything Alpine surely.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

His legacy will forever be losing a two-time world champion and the most exciting rookie in years because he was too obsessed with French drivers.

Hey, that's not fair! His legacy will be losing Alonso, Piastri, and half a million dollars in legal fees over their frivolous McLaren lawsuit.

You're right. Mustn't forget the legal fees that CRB hearing cost them.

I always thought that Rossi knew a bag full about F1, but not to go biting battle against Merc nor Bull. I wonder the dent is jatter than his management skills. I have no idea, if someone could is the question. Better not to take a top position if he is not capable of.
