Those in the UK may like to know that Toto Wolff will be a castaway on the long-running BBC radio programme Desert Island Discs. The programme invites people to select the eight music tracks they would choose to have with them if cast away on a desert island, and also lets them talk about their lives and what their greatest influences have been.

Toto’s edition will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 next Sunday (30th July) at 11.15 am BST.

Apparently Toto was nominated for the desert island by Christian Horner.

Second on his list, this euro-trash classic from the 90s:

I'm not happy with you Tim, your original post has cost me £220 for a DAB radio.

I shall listen free of charge on my laptop, on which I do everything - trype, serf, and spill biscuit crumbs. (The keyboard's always the first thing to go). Have to listen, to hear how many Spice Girls records he chooses.

I understand he was visibly upset when learning that it was just a music selection for a radio show, and is still being consoled by watching repeats of Spice Girls World Tours, while wearing his favourite pair of platform sneakers.

I really enjoyed that although I was amused by Toto’s choice of book for the island….

F1 just loves Phil Collins. Pretty sure Adriane Galisteu’s book says how Senna was a big fan, for example.

Really enjoyed that. Had forgotten about how hard his early life was.

I think it's a music programme.
