Does anyone amongst the knowledgeable readers on this forum have a collection of Brooklands programmes? In particular I am trying to find detail on a car and driver at the following meetings in order to identify film:

BARC Meeting 10/9/32

BARC Meeting 7/8/33

If anyone can help please PM me and I'll give the details of the car, driver and races.  Many thanks.

Thank you Terry for your reply.  I've just received all the info I wanted from another forum user, amazing!  What a source this forum is.

Another Brooklands programme request.  Does anyone have the programme for the 1931 August Bank Holiday meeting? I am trying to marry up car numbers to drivers and cars on a digitised cine film.

32 entries ranging in date from 1894 and 1896 Benzes, through 1897 Vipen and several 1898 Panhard Levassors to 1903 Mercedes and 1904 Panhard Levassor, White steam car, Renault (claimed to have covered 300,000 miles in same family from new), a l'Astor ("used as light lorry"), while an 1899 Progress Voiturette was noted since "Rats lived in car for 22 years").

Digest the above and it tells us an awful lot about Great Depression-era Brooklands and its form of racing - and also of racing people - halfway between the end of the First World War and the outbreak of the Second.
