An old mate dropped me a line this week.

 

His son recently acquired an antique Marlboro hat, with a mysterious signature and #2 embroidered on the side.

 

He asked if I had a clue, typically I did not.

 

However, if anyone is going to solve the puzzle it is likely to be one of the denizens of the this amazing place.

 

So, over to the knowledge bank....and thanks in advance.

OT: On the metro going home from work today, I saw a young man (25-30 years) wearing a JPS #12 embroidered cap with Senna's signature name. The cap was obviously new and the guy way too young to have known Senna. Which lead me to believe that someone is now creating 'fake' team wear and young people are wearing it.

I would say this was from the mid 90s when Luca rode for Kenny Roberts Yamaha 500 team, he finished second int he championship maybe once or twice.
