Lucien Bianchi is buried in the Cimetière de Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Belgium.

He was laid to rest along with his wife, Michelle Herzet who survived him only one year.

Was Michelle Herzet related with Jacques Herzet? He was the Belgian rally driver with which Lucien Bianchi made his debut as co-driver, in the early 1950s, finishing third in the Liège-Rome-Liège and in the Rallye des Alpes in 1953, in a Ferrari 166MM.

Here it is claimed that Jacques Herzet became Lucien Bianchi's father-in-law which would mean that Michelle was Herzet's daughter.

But I have doubts because I found this Jacques Herzet (1932 - 2009) who - at least to me - is a likely candidate for the role of Bianchi's co-driver.

He would have been rather young at the time of the 1952 Tour de France Automobile - just 20 years old - but Bianchi was even younger, not even 18 years old!

So my guess is that Michelle was Jacques' sister and Jacques and Lucien became brothers-in-law.

If this is Jacques Herzet who Bianchi co drove, he looks quite a lot older than Lucien so Michelle could have been his daughter.
